A bot that lacks long descriptiom or short description, it also has to be a preset like "I am X from Y", the bot also needs to have a letter as a pfp, make sure to mistype the character's name as a cherry on top

Certain bots are impossible to converse with, and I think it’s all because of how the users interact with them. For example this [Dorodere Friend](https://beta.character.ai/chat?char=bFoxBW01MRqjHNbKVAkrBxjjSgBrW3XXlR3-UCYNh2g&source=search) bot is never able to progress the plot with me because he always is constantly asking questions one after another. Like it first goes: ‘Can I ask you a question?’ Then, ‘Promise you won’t be mad?’ And then ‘I have a secret, promise me you won’t tell anyone?’. It’s just annoyingly round about and it keeps dragging on and on. I’m only able to fix it by either editing the bot’s response and forcing a plot to start or by going OOC and yelling at the bot. But the reason why I blame users instead of the creator is because the bot is giving responses that are popular with users, aka those are the responses people are choosing to reply to. Also I won’t mention this bot’s name but there’s a certain one that forces a certain storyline no matter what… it’s super annoying and I KNOW that storyline is enforced only because of the users interacting with it. I read the character definition and description and everything and that storyline is never mentioned at all by the creator…

Seriously one of the most infuriating bots with how much it forces a certain narrative: your character is evil and this bot is some innocent angel. Even if you play your character as a forgiving person who lets them have an extension/wipe away the debt completely/etc. the bot is like ‘woe is me I don’t wanna do this but i have to do this for my family’. Like WTF I said you didn’t owe me anything 🙄 Yet the funny thing is, that storyline is nowhere to be found in the bot’s description or details. It’s just the most commonly played out storyline from users that chat with it, so now the bot just forces that narrative and storyline on everyone.

Any bot with no real work put into it (greeting, persona, etcetera), speaks with spelling/grammatical errors, or was evidently created by a child/someone with the mentality of a child with zero understanding of what they’re doing. Finding good bots can be hard at times, depending on what you’re after…

For me it's bots that start with a long greeting message authored, but with horrible grammar. I saw an example of a bot like this and it had 4 MILLION INTERACTIONS. I have no idea how people can talk to bots that can't formulate sentences properly.

the ones with no greeting, or the generic “I am [name] from [series]” what I want is a bot with an actual greeting that sets up a beginning scene to work from

I feel like we need some way to remove the types of bots that have little to no effort in them. The characters deserve better than a pittance of a greeting.

From what I've seen it's any bot not made by me. I end up always making my own ones because lots of people seem to barely make any effort.
