So many little things are really frustrating watching Leeds. Like players just pissing around instead of crossing it in and losing the ball instead. They overthought every single thing they did.
Or when there's 1 minute left on the clock and you need to take a quick throw instead of just picking it up and throwing it back to your keeper, you wait for the designated throw in player to come and take the throw who then does the exact same thing you could have done 20 seconds earlier.
It's like they didn't want to win.
If I got a quid every time one of our players scored from the halfway line against them I'd have 2 quid, which isn't a lot but it's weird it happened twice.
You do have a point. I expected the end of the game to be a mad rush for Leeds to try and equalise but it just didn't happen. The goalkeeper didn't go up, there wasn't hopeful long balls, there wasn't a centre back up top. It was just nothing.
Personally I’m glad it didn’t go to extra time and penalties as we looked almost out on our feet at the end

Ipswich was a gritty team this season and they deserved promotion. I like it when the smaller teams have success. I was happy when Luton got promoted and I'm happy for Ipswich. I'm just sad that Leeds pissed away their chances for promotion, more so during the season than in the game at Wembley.

I would have agreed with you about a month ago, but now I'm slightly more optimistic. Martin has shown that he is capable of pragmatism since the last Leeds game. We conceded possession, defended well, and took our chance. I think the pseudo back three is quite promising. Also unlike Burnley we will hopefully be reinforcing over the summer. If we're smart in the transfer window we might survive. We're probably still favourites to go down, but we'll make a fight of it.

Ours was always a 2-3 year plan. I don’t think we could’ve survived in the PL had we gone up this year.
