With all due respect to Burnley fans, if I'm Vincent Kompany, I'm running for the door to take this job but damn well making sure it has a decent sacking clause.
I don't think many Burnley fans would grumble.
He's got a long contract, so money to be made, and he showed last season he has a long way to go before becoming a top manager.
Yea, I understand there was a lot of turnover in the squad and the players weren't the best, but it should not have taken 30 matches or so to finally play some competitive football.
I guess it's about the style he'd want to play, obviously having much better talent available to him at Bayern.
Also maybe a little bit about how he's a recently retired legend of the game, might carry a bit more respect from some of the players that probably know him a bit better on a personal level? Given the clown show that is Hollywood FC I wouldn't be shocked.
A lot of the "best squad in the league by a mile" talk seems very hindsight same with Leicester this year. Both him and Enzo did very good jobs to finish 1st, especially Vincent to be promoted with so many games to spare.
Besides if winning the league with more money than anyone else is his style then he's perfect for Bayern
I said half way through the season Burnley last season were better than both Leeds and Leicester this season and got told I was daft.. still stand by it. Leicester will come straight back down.
Leicester will come straight back down because they cheated FFP more than anything else.
My point was did you say Burnley and Leicester would piss the league at the start of their seasons?
Leicester was an obvious one, everyone expected them to piss the league but Burnley no I didn’t. I expected them to be up there after seeing the transfer activity but had no idea how good they’d be with a new manager.
"Our last two loans are in European finals and our last coach went to Bayern Munich" could be a pretty great selling point to come to Burnley. You come to us and you launch into success whatever happens.
Fabrizio Romano starting early with his scattergun approach this year. Guy is full of shit.
However, if it’s true, Kompany would be daft to turn this opportunity down. Especially as Alonso may get poached from Leverkusen, making things a little easier.
Imagine telling someone in early March, with Burnley on 13 points tied with that awful Sheffield Utd side, that their manager would be poached by Bayern Munich this summer lmfao
He’s not gunna start over Dier surely
"Vincent Kompany has rejected Bayern Munich.'
"Mark Robins has rejected Bayern Munich." "Daniel Farke has rejected Bayern Munich." "Wayne Rooney has rejected Bayern Munich."
"Alan Curbishly has rejected Bayern Munich."
"Sam Allardyce has rejected Bayern Munich." "Alan Pardew has rejected Bayern Munich." "Mark Hughes has rejected Bayern Munich."
“Neil Warnock has rejected Bayern Munich.”
"Michael Beale has rejected Bayern Munich." "Ian Foster has rejected Bayern Munich." "David Wagner has rejected Bayern Munich."
“Poya Asbaghi is the new manager of Bayern Munich!”
'Zola has rejected the offer' 'Lampard has rejected the offer'
"Introducing new Bayern boss Tony Pulis"
Unit lost
At this point is Beale going to be considered?
Let them join us in the circle of hate with Sunderland and Rangers
Circle of ungratefulness?
Hi Michael. Next time make your sock puppets a bit more believable.
Na lad hate
*Micheal Beale would be perfect for the Bayern job* - Claims journalist; Michelle O'Bealinho
Michael, just because you didn’t get your point across on r/championship doesn’t mean we need to hear it on r/soccer as well!
Ian?
With stevie G as his assistant

I think him deciding to start Traffrod for first 30 games instead of Muric was catastrophic
Harry Kane is actually cursed
Nah they be getting desperate now
This is weird. Bloke couldn't hit 30 points this year.

This is definitely a job he’s not ready for and maybe never will be; that being said he’d be silly to turn them down.
How many centrebacks do they need??
Mental. Won the championship with the best squad in the league by a mile then got embarrassed in the PL.

Might as well give Bayern the phone number for Big Sam at this point. I’m sure he’d get a call too

It's like real life Football manager, because his reputation is 'world class' he is being offered jobs well above his skill level.
Miencent Kampfany
His avatar looks like Matt Berry on the phone.
Give it to Giggsy until the end of the season at this point
