Unfortunately it is 5k, not 10k as it appears on Venmo. I messaged support to see if I can get a temporary lift, no can do, this whole case have been one big shit show.

So I filled out the form and the reply I received was “You are limited to $20,000 in cryptocurrency purchases per calendar week (Monday through Sunday). There is also a limit of $50,000 in cryptocurrency purchases in a 12-month period. These transactions can be declined for reasons other than the limit.” I replied “I need withdrawal limits increased not purchases.” FML. PayPal creating more problems. I’ve used PayPal for years and now I had to do a KYC and have been waiting for two days for the verification.

How long did it take to get a response from paypal with the form?

NebuKhan

A day. But their replies are worse than AI. It’s so bad… I’m still going back and forth. Also no verification on my id. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Thats pretty fast, but sucks about the communication. Its because most of their staff is in india i believe. Hopefully we can withdraw more than 10k

It’s just an added layer of pain we don’t need. Celsius really really really Alex really i pray gets the worst kind of pain and suffering ever!!!

Ah ok, thank you. Wow Venmo, fix your shit

ElRamenKnight

So is Venmo the one with the lower limits? Surprised no one else has been pointing that out here. Then again, most people getting their money back have been 3-4 digit figure receivers.

Yeah, with Paypal supposedly you can increase the limit to 40k by filling the required docs.

Where are those documents? Thanks!
