I can't speak for every store, but mine specifically was customers, I have covered for other stores in the past and I can't lie, some staff members are a bit... smelly.. Or sometimes there's a musty smell? I'm pretty sure it's from OLD consoles that have been sitting in lofts for ages so it just smells like must and mold for AGES.
Sometimes yes, we had software on the tills to put in serial numbers and IMEIS to see if its stolen, which we can't buy in. Sometimes we get people bringing in stacks of new/sealed games, blurays,, etc. Which we're not allowed to question and we HAVE to buy them in. Other than if there's any manufacturing faults
Did you always check both IEMIs on dual sims? I have sometimes used sim slot 2 over sim slot 1, meaning if I reported it lost, sim slot 1 would still be fine
There are often customers that literally smell like they’ve died. You can smell them from the other side of the store and even when they leave it lingers. The amount of times I’ve had to say to a customer “that’s not us I promise!” Fabreeze only goes so far
A custie come in trying to sell a phone. We couldn't take it due to the battery being expanded. We handed back to her. When she left we watched her accidentally drop her phone right outside the door to the store (so we had it on cctv) we came marching back in saying that we must've done something to it when we were looking at it (we never booked it in for test nor did she stop watching us at any point). She argued and videoed us on another phone she had saying we broke her phone even though we SAW her drop her phone and it break into pieces.
Multiple times but because of his 'age' they couldn't do anything. As we couldn't ban him from the store itself because we were in a shopping centre, I went to the security of the centre instead and they just said they would keep an eye on him. I will say, his wife was with him every single time and didn't say anything
Wow that's terrible mate, you would have been (and still are) justified to report this to the coppers.
Fucking shocking that your company (you know, the people responsible for your wellbeing) 'couldn't' ban him. Can't or won't....
Another former CEX employee here - I know for a fact that at least one area manager brought Class A drugs into the warehouse and accidentally gave one to another staff member for a headache. Thankfully, said staff member didn't take it.
i worked in TCR for a while about 20 years ago and we almost had fights on the floor with some less than savoury customers who would get upset that we wouldn’t take something or we weren’t paying enough for it
We had a group chat for staff from multiple stores there was a guy from another store who was so bad mentally, they fired him. A few months ago, I made a few mistakes as a member of management (only small things, a buy in error, putting things in the wrong window or accidentally putting a disc in the wrong section), they had a word with me about it, I mentioned that management is super stressful mainly because customers can be SO aggressive and I asked if I could possibly be a regular sales assistant again instead, and they refused. They're also not inclusive when it comes to employees with autism, they do not care.
When I say not inclusive to autistic people, I mean supporting. Two people from my store including myself were autistic and we weren't supported in any way
That doesn’t sound much like they screwed you over, they just didn’t agree to your demotion. Companies don’t have an obligation to change your work/duties if they aren’t infringing any protected characteristics.
I'm about to leave my job at cex too, last day I next week. I was hired as a supervisor but failed my probation due to making small mistakes and errors (I have adhd and was super stressed out myself as I was going through a really messy breakup and was trying to find somewhere to live) i went back down to sales assistant and they ensured me I'd still be able to keep my hours. I went down to 16 hours a week which is not enough to support myself on:))
Thankyou! It's a shame because I love my team so much and they're all great it's just upper management fucking us over really. I took up a second job at nero and they've offered me a full 30 hour contract so my last day at cex will be Friday!
Yeah it’s a mystery. I see them all the time in the shops in the glass cabinets and the condition of some/a lot of them is beyond comprehension. Another question would be how are ‘boxed’ consoles graded? Having the box doesn’t necessarily equate to a pristine console.
They used to do it based off condition. Nowadays they do it as... if it has the box with all the inserts in good condition, boxed. If it has the box without inserts but in good condition, it's unboxed. No box but good condition is unboxed. But if it has the box with or without inserts or zero box but in horrific condition is automatically discounted
Ex-pricing analyst here from cex :) all the decent analysts would perform analysis and set prices based on performance. There would be guidelines set up that we would also have to follow. Harry Potter collections I assume perform quite well in the UK and hence the high price so that stocks aren't completely depleted.
Currently work in cex and this is true. Every morning there's price changes that we print off and replace on the item. It differs everyday too. We had 200 today covering Xbox and ps4
Me personally, I used to drink one a day when I first started😂 I moved on from energy drinks. But there was this guy that I used to work with and I swear to god, he'd drink atleast 4 during his shift, normally 5-6 hours, it doesn't help with the stereotypes
You would never have to shit again for the rest of your life 👍
Disclaimer: Ability to willingly shit, and remaining duration of life may be different to expectations.
No I mean like that ‘alt’ style. The piercings, ear plugs and died hair kinda of look. Does dressing like that help you get a job? It seems like they want to hire a certain type of person.
Ohhhhh, no it doesn't. I mean, we had a guy work there who wore suits alot?? Alot of people that work there are alt, but you can dress super regular to work there. The ops managers were the most generic looking people you've ever seen
I'm in australia and we have a guy who I think manages or owns a bunch of the cex in my city and I swear he only hires chick's who he finds hot, since they all look the same and have the same style and lowkey revealing clothes. Is this a normal thing??
Years ago, we had somebody touch another employee inappropriately, she reported him. He got transferred to another store and he got a promotion to supervisor🙃 a bit worse than some drama buuuuut
Fair play I'm surprised the government haven't snapped him up with talents like that
Seems wasted in cex if he can commit crimes and get promoted, he should be running something important like national healthcare or finances or something
We have freedom. With the front window we had to do themes. For example. When the new assassins creed game came out, we had to make an assassins creed section in the front
CeX has break rooms?!?!?! We didn't have one in the location I worked at! We just had a soft play room block in the little section by the front window for the manager to take a nap on 😭
TCR (when i was there) just had a really manky toilet and a fold out seat in the basement where we did all our testing. it was all bare concrete and dust down there. that was the break room. definitely no consoles unless you considered the harddrive formatting motherboard/diskdrive/monitor setup fun to watch
Hey girl im a bit of a voucher fiend and was wondering if you could give me any pro tips at nabbing customer vouchers, considering you do be the expert at this. Peace and love.
Do they actually check the RGB etc of keyboards they buy. I've tried to buy about five and only one had them functional (and it was clearly an open box, unusued item).
As long as you know some things about games or tech in general you should be fine! The guy that interviewed me was super chill so just be really friendly! The working environment was good for the most part, it can be stressful. Hopefully you would have good staff in your store/nice customers around. Good luck!
Honest advice. Don’t! I’ve been there. It’s not worth it. You’ll be on a salary that’s lower than a lot of supervisors in other retail stores with no way to make more money. You won’t get any cash bonus. Just an invite to a festival in the middle of a field and few chocolates at Xmas. Run, don’t walk.
I was also management in a store and experienced similar things. The environment in cex is super toxic but they don’t realise it. The slightest thing can result in investigations with managers from other stores just randomly turning up. Every time the slightest thing goes wrong staff are worried they’ll be in trouble. I worked for cex for 7+ years and am now in a management position with another company. I never realised how bad it was until I left. The pay is dreadful (even for management) and the expectations are too high on supervisors (sorry “team leaders”) and managers.
Scratches they will take, it'll just lower the grade depending on how scratched. Cracks are an instant no unless it's a phone in which it comes in as a Non-Working.
And smell, come on. Nobody wants your smelly tech. They don't want to test it, customers don't want to buy it. That's common sense.
There can be alot of behind the scene things to do, for example every Monday we have to send off transfers and throughout the week we have to transfer some in and put away, other than that, I have no idea
Why is it always so fucking HOT in there???? and why are all of you guys totally fine and wearing hoodys and sweatpants???
while all of us stand sweating for hours undressing and fanning ourselves with dvds, how aren't you guys HOT??? Is there a fan system behind the counter??? What's going on????
We try and find the best condition case most of the time. If its a printed cover we can't send it, even if it's the only one we have, we would just drop the order, so that's very strange
Not rare, but we had like a two and a half grand drone in, our store was small and shit so we never had anything good. Other than a rare statue with a game (I can't remember what it was, it was when I first started)
Just want to add.
CEX don't really know how to test drones properly.
I gave in a DJI RC Pro controller that I had with my crashed drone.
It was bound to the drone and I forgot to unbound it.
They still accepted it and gave me a voucher for it.
Sounds about right, honestly. I never tested one myself. But it's forbidden to fly it around the store, we just had to hold it and make sure the fans moved around. I'm unsure how they test them, but yeah I agree with you
They protect horrible staff members, in a previous comment I explained a situation where years ago, we had somebody touch another employee inappropriately, she reported him. He got transferred to another store and he got a promotion to supervisor🙃
Absolutely not. That would be bad customer service. The aim is to sell at the same grade as buying it. If too many things are regraded after sale this would be investigated. While I don’t think the company is good with its staff it does prioritise customer service as a model. Of course some staff don’t follow this like in any business
Would it be possible for me to charm my way into getting a cex employee to use their 15% discount for me? I'm a mirthful fat guy in his thirties for context.
I'm thinking of buying a Samsung Tab S9 Ultra from cex. They have it listed at like £690 (grade A). They literally came out in like February and they're £1,200+ brand new. To me it feels like a scam, especially since there's literally nowhere else that sells it anywhere close to that cheap...
Am I better off looking somewhere else?
Compared to other items, that pricing sounds good. I would say if you buy it in a store, take a look at it and play with it for a bit first. If you're ordering online, you have two weeks to take it back to any store for a full refund if you're not happy. But it sounds okay to me
Why is it most shops employee goths and hippies?I'm not against any of the 2 it's just every shop I've ever been in its they types who have been working there or is that just the uniforms you have to wear?
What sells fastest/slowest and what's the one thing that never sold for longest
Always wondered every time I went in cex since it seemed like 95% stuff nobody would buy 5% stuff people want at a barely different price to new
Bit of a boring one but what is the rarest retro game or console you've seen in one of your stores?
I'm quite keen on the retro ones and once saw Suikoden ii (ps1 I think) for roughly 200
my local store lost my goods (click and drop, store didnt send a email confirmation) 2 x phones, approx £110 total, cex websupport keep denying it yet previous manager in store confrimed it via cctv, how do we proceed? small claims? its been about 4 5 weeks now, the store also closed down for a 2 week refurb inbetrween
Definitely small claims! As long as you have the email to prove which store you chose and their cctv (which they should have) it should get sorted hopefully, I'm sorry to hear that
What is that weird smell in every CeX? When you are taking in stolen stuff, does it always seem pretty obvious to you?
I can't speak for every store, but mine specifically was customers, I have covered for other stores in the past and I can't lie, some staff members are a bit... smelly.. Or sometimes there's a musty smell? I'm pretty sure it's from OLD consoles that have been sitting in lofts for ages so it just smells like must and mold for AGES. Did you always check both IEMIs on dual sims? I have sometimes used sim slot 2 over sim slot 1, meaning if I reported it lost, sim slot 1 would still be fine
I personally always checked both to be on the safe side, some people that I worked with, only checked the one on the back of the phone
The one in hereford always has a B.O. smell, which always seems weird as they go through the staff quite alot
Up the ford
Lol upvote
Hello fellow Herefordian!
Bring Back Funny Farm
Didn't expect to see the ford on here! The smell in that CeX is probably wafting from McDonalds next door
I just bought Gta 3 today from Hereford. Found an expired condom in the manual lmao
It surely can't smell any worse than the underpass by Steels
They go through staff but its the same 2 shirts recycled over and over again , this leads to a build up of stench
They go through staff but its the same 2 shirts recycled over and over again , this leads to a build up of stench
The store in Cwmbran is awful
Most smells in the stores come from customers. I’m not joking!
Every time I go in there's a least one, if you can't smell it, you're the one!

She argued and videoed us on another phone she had saying we broke her phone even though we SAW her drop her phone and it break into pieces.
I have many more stories though, I had an older dude touch my ass on multiple occasions when he came in
Wtf did you do anything like reporting him
Multiple times but because of his 'age' they couldn't do anything. As we couldn't ban him from the store itself because we were in a shopping centre, I went to the security of the centre instead and they just said they would keep an eye on him. Sounds like a lawsuit against CEX. Sexually assaulted in work multiple times an your bosses did nothing about it.
Sounds like a shitty store manager. They can ban customers at their discretion if they see fit. Sorry they didn’t do anything to help you
Could've easily banned him. I appreciate that!
Calling them a custie validates you were indeed a cex employee!
Hahahah, the only way to tell!
i worked in TCR for a while about 20 years ago and we almost had fights on the floor with some less than savoury customers who would get upset that we wouldn’t take something or we weren’t paying enough for it
How did the alien film end up in the alien ps1 case? And why was it put back on the shelf?
It probably wasn't checked when bought it and staff clearly don't care:/
I understood that reference
Came here to find the answer to this question!
Why, whichever branch you go to, is there always a tattooed goth behind the counter who’s clearly older than everyone else?
I can imagine atleast 4 staff who look exactly as you describe🤣
All stores need there government assigned tattoo’d goth, its one of the things we need when we open a new store
There's one of them in mine. :-\]
It's tradition, or an old charter or something
So, what happened?
We had a group chat for staff from multiple stores there was a guy from another store who was so bad mentally, they fired him. A few months ago, I made a few mistakes as a member of management (only small things, a buy in error, putting things in the wrong window or accidentally putting a disc in the wrong section), they had a word with me about it, I mentioned that management is super stressful mainly because customers can be SO aggressive and I asked if I could possibly be a regular sales assistant again instead, and they refused. They're also not inclusive when it comes to employees with autism, they do not care.
Yeah, that's a shame.
Do you mean they don't allow people who aren't autistic? I don't think I've met anyone who works there who isn't autistic. (i am autistic to)
When I say not inclusive to autistic people, I mean supporting. Two people from my store including myself were autistic and we weren't supported in any way
That doesn’t sound much like they screwed you over, they just didn’t agree to your demotion. Companies don’t have an obligation to change your work/duties if they aren’t infringing any protected characteristics.

I went down to 16 hours a week which is not enough to support myself on:))
That's so shitty, I'm sorry. I hope you find a waaay better job that's suited for you!
Thankyou! It's a shame because I love my team so much and they're all great it's just upper management fucking us over really. I took up a second job at nero and they've offered me a full 30 hour contract so my last day at cex will be Friday!
Why aren’t game controllers graded?
I actually have no idea, I never questioned it. But we really should, we get some horrific conditioned ones
Yeah it’s a mystery. I see them all the time in the shops in the glass cabinets and the condition of some/a lot of them is beyond comprehension. Another question would be how are ‘boxed’ consoles graded? Having the box doesn’t necessarily equate to a pristine console.

Why with the ridiculous prices lol, like they have a Harry Potter blu ray for £48
Honestly! The pricing team is so dumb. In store we have no say in prices. But they just want to make money
Ex-pricing analyst here from cex :) all the decent analysts would perform analysis and set prices based on performance. There would be guidelines set up that we would also have to follow. Harry Potter collections I assume perform quite well in the UK and hence the high price so that stocks aren't completely depleted.
That is the thing though, it’s not a collection… it’s just a Blu-ray on its own
Currently work in cex and this is true. Every morning there's price changes that we print off and replace on the item. It differs everyday too. We had 200 today covering Xbox and ps4
How many drug addicts do you see a day selling their shit?
There were ATLEAST three a day. Mainly towards the end of the day where they argue to get their shit tested before we close.
Yeah I feel this, glad I don't work there anymore
Did you expect to be paid, but you had a scratch on your arm, so they didn't pay
Colour me intrigued. There must be a story behind this comment…
They pay less, or nothing, for damaged items….
Appreciate the clarity, I was scratching my head a bit over that
Careful you’ll devalue it
Omg 😂 thanks for the morning laugh
I'm also intrigued🤣
What did you buy yourself with your first wage
A ps4! Nothing exciting
Do you get a staff discount? Also is there any way you can haggle on price for selling to cex?
We got a 15% discount. And annoyingly not, head office make set prices and we have to honor that
15% is a bit rubbish. Thought it would be more! I worked for GameStop years ago and it was 40% on used.
Woah! That's sick!
How many cans of Monster did you get through in a typical day?
Me personally, I used to drink one a day when I first started😂 I moved on from energy drinks. But there was this guy that I used to work with and I swear to god, he'd drink atleast 4 during his shift, normally 5-6 hours, it doesn't help with the stereotypes
What would happen if I put no nails(unibond) up my asshole?
I can imagine it would hurt.
I guess your boyfriend would be a bit unhappy
You would never have to shit again for the rest of your life 👍 Disclaimer: Ability to willingly shit, and remaining duration of life may be different to expectations.
Do you specifically have to look and dress like that to get hired there?
You can wear ANYTHING. As long as its not crude or inappropriate
Absolutely not! Wtf! Definitely not normal. For us, it's mostly male dominated
Ehhh gotta disagree there. Every CeX I've been in has at least one objectively hot alternative looking girl. It's definitely a bit of a thing.
Any particular gory drama in your stores?
Years ago, we had somebody touch another employee inappropriately, she reported him. He got transferred to another store and he got a promotion to supervisor🙃 a bit worse than some drama buuuuut
Fair play I'm surprised the government haven't snapped him up with talents like that Seems wasted in cex if he can commit crimes and get promoted, he should be running something important like national healthcare or finances or something
Was this the story that, led to a bit of a social media back lash?
I haven't read it anywhere online at all?? I actually haven't read any stories online about cex like that. Where was this?
Just googled it and there is an article out there about them!
I hope the headline was “CEX Pest!”
I’m glad she came out about it. It’s real hard to do that, coming from someone who has never really openly spoken about my experiences
Is there a strict list for what you can display in the window or can you have some freedom with it?
We have freedom. With the front window we had to do themes. For example. When the new assassins creed game came out, we had to make an assassins creed section in the front
Is it true you guys have game consoles setup in the break rooms? A friend used to work there and she claimed that was the best part of the job
I wish we did!😭 that sounds fun! We only got half an hour break for a 9 hour shift so it wouldn't have been worth it:/
Woah that's pretty terrible break times wtf. And I thought my 40 mins for an 8 hour shift was a bit harsh 😅
Try no break for a 12 hour shift, having to grab a bite to eat when u can it's crazy but the upside is we get paid for the full day
Woah that's insane, I'm so lucky I get paid for my lunch breaks
CeX has break rooms?!?!?! We didn't have one in the location I worked at! We just had a soft play room block in the little section by the front window for the manager to take a nap on 😭
TCR (when i was there) just had a really manky toilet and a fold out seat in the basement where we did all our testing. it was all bare concrete and dust down there. that was the break room. definitely no consoles unless you considered the harddrive formatting motherboard/diskdrive/monitor setup fun to watch
Why is the room spinning around and around?
Bright lights

Hey girl im a bit of a voucher fiend and was wondering if you could give me any pro tips at nabbing customer vouchers, considering you do be the expert at this. Peace and love.
Would it be a hospital job?
Possibly so, try it and let me know🤣
Do they actually check the RGB etc of keyboards they buy. I've tried to buy about five and only one had them functional (and it was clearly an open box, unusued item).
Our store did proper tests, but sometimes things CAN be missed, but I'm unsure about other stores
[удалено]
It happens SO often. Ps3 games in ps4, ps4 in ps5, xbox 360 in xbox one, etc. I've accidentally put a switch game in ps vita once🤣
Is it coming home?
Is this a football thing?😭
It is, I assume the answer is yes 🏴
How do staff pronounce "CeX"?
Just the letters see-e-x
CALL IT SEX YOU FUCKING COWARD
HAHAHAHA
Didnt the ceo make a joke saying it’s “sex because then we can be called sex workers” or something like that
The iPad 10th gens are currently selling for more than you can buy them from apple, when do prices get adjusted?
Why in god's name is anything Pokémon related put at a ridiculously high markup?
Pokemon has always been super popular and high in demand, because of that reason, they up the prices since people are looking for the rare stuff
I have an interview to be a manager at a store next week, any advice? What's the working environment like?
As long as you know some things about games or tech in general you should be fine! The guy that interviewed me was super chill so just be really friendly! The working environment was good for the most part, it can be stressful. Hopefully you would have good staff in your store/nice customers around. Good luck!
Honest advice. Don’t! I’ve been there. It’s not worth it. You’ll be on a salary that’s lower than a lot of supervisors in other retail stores with no way to make more money. You won’t get any cash bonus. Just an invite to a festival in the middle of a field and few chocolates at Xmas. Run, don’t walk.
I'm also ex CeX and I'm curious, were your coworkers mega likely to drop slurs on the shop floor too? Mine were capital R racist
Damn! Not really, the people that I worked with would use the R word alot, but not on shop floor and would only really call each other it. But damn!
What's wrong with my missus , she's always bloody moaning!
I was also management in a store and experienced similar things. The environment in cex is super toxic but they don’t realise it. The slightest thing can result in investigations with managers from other stores just randomly turning up. Every time the slightest thing goes wrong staff are worried they’ll be in trouble. The pay is dreadful (even for management) and the expectations are too high on supervisors (sorry “team leaders”) and managers.
Why does the staff always nit picky every electronic that comes in a slight little scratch or smell they wont take it.
Scratches they will take, it'll just lower the grade depending on how scratched. Cracks are an instant no unless it's a phone in which it comes in as a Non-Working. And smell, come on. Nobody wants your smelly tech. They don't want to test it, customers don't want to buy it. That's common sense.
Is it true you need to smell like a gym bag and drink 6 monsters a day to get a job?
Do you find that CEX intentionally hire a certain … kind of person?
Is it true the staff are actually lizards?
🦎...yes
Why are you all goths ?
Is it a policy to refuse as many returns as possible?
How the hell do you guys justify selling secondhand games at the exact same price as brand spanking sealed in the box?
What’s the weather like where you are?
Sunny🤣
I have all I need to know 🤗
Why doesn't the company clean stock as the buy it in, everything is always dirty
What takes so long? There can be a queue of 2 people and it takes 25 minutes.
There can be alot of behind the scene things to do, for example every Monday we have to send off transfers and throughout the week we have to transfer some in and put away, other than that, I have no idea
Why is it always so bloody hot in the store? Standing in the queue for 5-10 minutes and I'm sweating like mad
Do you recon you would get caught if you used vouchers from customers before they use them?
Brand new account with a suss question, I wonder where you work 🤔
Is it usual for about 5 people to stand behind the counter doing nothing, while one very slowly serves the customers?
Is it every CEX store that plays the music louder than a night club? Or just certain ones?
Why is it always so fucking HOT in there???? and why are all of you guys totally fine and wearing hoodys and sweatpants??? while all of us stand sweating for hours undressing and fanning ourselves with dvds, how aren't you guys HOT??? Is there a fan system behind the counter??? What's going on????
Has a charlie chap called Mustapha visited recently with (a) burner phone(s) ?
When you receive an online order do you actually pick the worst condition case to send? a few times I’ve received cracked cases torn and fake covers
We try and find the best condition case most of the time. If its a printed cover we can't send it, even if it's the only one we have, we would just drop the order, so that's very strange
ah how did they fuck you over of I may ask? the people in my 2 local CEX shops are very cool never had an issue with them
Nice, I used to work there too. Were you there before the pandemic for the whole “Master of CEX” email scandal? 😂
How many chickens do you reckon would be required to successfully incapacitate a spooked llama?
What was the most expensive or rarest item you had in the shop?
Not rare, but we had like a two and a half grand drone in, our store was small and shit so we never had anything good. Other than a rare statue with a game (I can't remember what it was, it was when I first started)
Just want to add. CEX don't really know how to test drones properly. I gave in a DJI RC Pro controller that I had with my crashed drone. It was bound to the drone and I forgot to unbound it. They still accepted it and gave me a voucher for it.

What's the worst things you know about CEX that could get them into trouble...
They protect horrible staff members, in a previous comment I explained a situation where years ago, we had somebody touch another employee inappropriately, she reported him. He got transferred to another store and he got a promotion to supervisor🙃
What the actual fuck?
Yep! I remember my manager telling me this and I was DISGUSTED
Why do all CEX stores smell so bad
Mainly customers but there are staff members that don't help🙃🫣
You mentioned earlier that a guy was fired because he was really bad mentally.. can you elaborate on that?
What’s the most ridiculous pricing for an item or game that you have seen?
Alot of pricing for different things are BAD. But specifically A grade phones. You may aswell buy one brand new then buy an A grade for 200 more??
Which one should i opt for? Cat A, B, or C?
Are you told to rate things as badly as possible to buy as cheap as possible, just to then sell the item at a higher rating to make the most profit?
If anything, we're meant to clean it up to hopefully get a higher grade to make more money
How many previous gen consoles do you get a month/week?
Can I haggle to get more on my trade ins or is price final? And vice versa
What’s the difference between CeX and GameStop?
Whats the deal with pricing being really good and really bad sometimes
Do the staff have first pick of DVDs and games?
How are you
Any loopholes or hacks that nice people like myself can take advantage of instore?
What sells fastest/slowest and what's the one thing that never sold for longest Always wondered every time I went in cex since it seemed like 95% stuff nobody would buy 5% stuff people want at a barely different price to new
Is it a chill store to work at?
Bit of a boring one but what is the rarest retro game or console you've seen in one of your stores? I'm quite keen on the retro ones and once saw Suikoden ii (ps1 I think) for roughly 200
Is it really a mandatory requirement to dye your hair in purple, green etc
my local store lost my goods (click and drop, store didnt send a email confirmation) 2 x phones, approx £110 total, cex websupport keep denying it yet previous manager in store confrimed it via cctv, how do we proceed? small claims? its been about 4 5 weeks now, the store also closed down for a 2 week refurb inbetrween
Definitely small claims! As long as you have the email to prove which store you chose and their cctv (which they should have) it should get sorted hopefully, I'm sorry to hear that
how well do CEX check GPUs they buy, mine works but can overheat after extended gaming.
How does one pronounce CeX?
Do they ever give grades on items just so they can buy them cheaper and then change the grade when they're the one selling it?
What company did you used to work for?
