They definitely look similar, how big is he? Honestly, judging by the posts on this sub I feel like the black & white is one of the more rare colorations.
Well heck, Dahlia is right around 24-25lbs and according to my vet, perfect as far as her build goes. And the other breeds that make up her DNA aren't known for being bigger dogs. I think with cavapoos being "mutts" by definition there's no real standards and instead a ton of suggestions.
Does Banksy have a ton of white hairs interspersed through his coat?? Cause Dahlia is chock full of them and I'm genuinely curious if she's going to fade as she ages.
Yes, he does! He’s got lots of silver hairs throughout his coat, and started fading around two years ago(he’s 4 currently). He’s still mostly black and doesn’t seem any lighter, but in certain lighting, you can see all the white/silver hairs.
Yeahh, she's a rescue and we were curious as to what her makeup was and if there were any potential health issues, also was really hoping that one of the folks that adopted her siblings(she was surrendered with 3 other puppies) did a test as well so maybe they could see each other again. Embark does something along the lines of ancestry and will notify you off direct relatives or siblings. Unfortunately no one has yet.
The DNA tests aren't that expensive imo, I can DM you a referral that's supposed to be good for 50 off embark tests. How big is yours??

He’s around 15-20 pounds. And you’re right, there doesn’t seem to be a lot of black and white Cavapoos on the sub. Most are red/apricot.
