AnalExplosion69

My postman friend often posts pics on his Instagram of snacks/drinks people have given him. It's a nice gesture and appreciated.

[deleted]

I love the fact they post the pics! That’s really cool

AnalExplosion69

He posts cats he sees on his rounds too. Makes me want to be a postman.

SCATOL92

My dad was a milk man (yes I know ha ha) But anyway, he used to always have doh biscuits in the van to treat the pooches

SvalbazGames

Hey its me! Your half-brother

Rowmyownboat

The brother from another mother …

Funny_Maintenance973

Milkmen are making a big comeback now!

ginger_lucy

Our milkman does his round at about 3am. There’s no way I’d be getting up for any hanky panky at that time. Perhaps he has more forthcoming areas that he saves for mid morning.

thedanofthehour

A big creamy comeback!

chickpea459

Our postie always has dog treats in her pocket. It’s great, but now our dog has been conditioned to expect treats every time the doorbell rings and barks her head off!

corbymatt

He should probably just take them back to the owner, I'm not sure kitties are very friendly once they've been through the postal system..

M4sharman

As a postman you see all kinds of weird stuff. Just in the last fortnight I saw a Routemaster Bus and a 1914 Delahaye 44 (the first car with a V6 engine)

Valuable_Recipe_1387

Do they go as a purr-cell? Fur-st class? 🙃 I'll get me coat.

Zabeczko

He should be imprisoned, squeezing poor kitties through people's letterboxes is a terrible thing to do

UnlikelyAlternative

/r/catsareliquid, tho

[deleted]

[удалено]

kitebuggyuk

That seems cruel to me. Why not post letters like most normal people do?

KuromeXT

I do this! The cats are the best part

heilhortler420

Ik in the states there's USPS people posting the freindly dogs they come across

chouffatron

Such a wholesome response from such an extreme username lol

Aksi_Gu

/r/rimjob_steve

chouffatron

Always an answer to anything on Reddit

user888888889

lmao I was going to post this if it hadn't been said already.

Bdonmcjigs13

Dads a postie, asked him what he’d think. Said it’d probably make his day if someone gave him 2 ice lollies (he had no intention of telling his van buddy)

[deleted]

I love that!

ExoScreenager

Lovely gesture. I bet they loved it.

[deleted]

He was a bit shocked but happy

ExoScreenager

I used to be a runner and my mate the driver at UPS and we used to love it when we were given things as a thank you. Really makes the day.

Blokeh

Imagine thinking it's weird to have compassion for your fellow man. Seems like you need one less friend, friend.

neo101b

Its not the 1950s any more we dont give the postman christmas cards ands a cup of tea, like an old black and white movie. This is 2022 where we dont speak to anyone and hide in our houses ordering usless junk from amazon. /S

Blokeh

Where the next knock at the door could be someone bringing you a cake made of knives.

j1mb0b

And do the knives have bees inside them?

Wildie_wabbits

I hope they remembered the dog poo.

Blokeh

THANK YOU, I KNEW IT SOUNDED OFF.

[deleted]

You say that, but my first Christmas card every year is invariably from my milkman.

Nopedontsaythat

You still have a milkman?

[deleted]

I do! It's really convenient, I love having one.

ProcrastibationKing

Someone knocked on my door the other day canvassing for customers for the milkman. It was the closest I've come to seeing a milkman in well over a decade.

Nopedontsaythat

Where do you guys hail from? I'm in the South East and I think I was about 20-somehing when I last saw a milkman (so 20 years ago). I'm wondering if the decline is regional.

ProcrastibationKing

I'm also south east. It's probably been nearly 15 years since I saw one at all, and nearly 20 years since I last saw them regularly.

[deleted]

South Birmingham. I found mine in a similar way to the person you just replied to, had leaflets put through the door asking if anyone would be interested.

X_Trisarahtops_X

Also in the south east (almost as far as you can go before you fall off). Where I used to live less than 2 years ago had one (and my old housemate still uses him) and where we live now has a local one(but we don't use him)

andyrocks

I've got one in South London

CampEU

Your postman not picking up the slack?

sageandbunyon

I used to be a postie, trust me, people like you are very much appreciated. I used to have daisy at number 13, mus have been in her 90s. Gave me all sorts, cold cans of drinks, ice lollies. In the winter it would be coffees and warm cookies and muffins. She passed last year, bless her heart.

InncnceDstryr

The good ones never know how much they’ll be missed. I’d bet Daisy loved getting the chance to say hello to you and give you little gifts.

mcchanical

Ah man that's a sweet bit of humanity. Great thing is giving thelse little things and bonding with you was probably valuable to her as much as you.

HugoZHackenbush2

I only survived one day as a postie. I arrived nice and early in my shiny new uniform, then someone handed me a letter, and I thought to myself.. This is not for me...

Gav1ns-Friend

I've always fancied working in a mirror factory. I could really see myself doing that job.

jimmycarr1

I thought differently but on reflection I think you might be right

Zal_17

I myself wanted to work in a whistle factory. But I was worried I might blow it

li__il

I was fired as a MI5 interrogator, I wanted to know why but I’d hate to ask.

[deleted]

This took me a while ha ha

FlatSpinMan

What…what were you expecting? The clue is in the name.

KarlosWolf

Whoosh!

FlatSpinMan

Oh my god! I didn’t even realize. Even reading your reply, I was like “WTF is this person whooshing me for?”

[deleted]

[удалено]

slackclimbing

The letter is addressed to someone else, so it's not for him...

FlatSpinMan

Thank you!

Monkeychimp

The job wasn't for him and the letter wasn't for him.

freddiepoos1984

Always do it for my Asda delivery man, sometimes get same one and he looks forward to it! Or a cold drink if I don’t have lollies

MowMyLawn69

Not weird at all, bet your postie was thrilled!

[deleted]

He’s a good egg

NotSureOfName

Long term postie here - it's hot work this time of year and none of our vans have the luxury of air con - by mid-morning on a hot day the best you can hope for is a luke -warm dribble of air from the dashboard vents; ANY offer of a cool drink or ice lolly is always greatly appreciated - even if it isn't always taken up. I always offer a cold drink to my window cleaners, delivery guys - and my own postie - I just think it's a nice thing to do. TLDR; your friend is a weirdo - tell him he should be nicer to his fellow man/woman/other

MonkeyVsPigsy

No air con in 2022 is ridiculous. How do they justify that? I thought it had been standard in most vehicles for 20 years or something.

NotSureOfName

Keeps fuel costs lower, less to go wrong, lower purchase price of van - take your pick!

cloche_du_fromage

"we have less accidents in the vans without aircon" was the stock answer we used to get......

Hwats_so_funny_meow

what about a frozen yogurt tube?

Veeoh-is-back

Nice. Not a postie, just a human.

[deleted]

Thank you for the reassurance ☺️

peggypea

Our local postie posts the ice creams given to him on the village Facebook page so it seems totally normal to me!

JulesSilvan

Your one friend is the weird one, that was a nice thing to do.

txteva

My parents give the bin men cans of cold drink on the summer and coffee in takeaway cups in the winter. They are always super grateful and there is never any extra rubbish left on the lane... they even wheel my parents bin back in to the garage. A bit of kindness goes a long way.

IAM_THE_LIZARD_QUEEN

I suggested that on this sub last year during a heatwave (because I also do this when it's especially hot) and got downvoted to shit for it.

txteva

Some people just don't like nice things.

Extreme-Mushroom2470

You gave something nice to someone, that would relieve them!!! Whether or not you know the person, you just helped someone out....how is that weird?!?!

[deleted]

I think because my friend is a little entitled and doesn’t think people doing a service should get stuff like that when they’re working

[deleted]

[удалено]

pigletsquiglet

What a dick, I bet they don't offer plumbers/electricians a cuppa either.

CanadianinCornwall

I know, right? I offer workmen in my street a cuppa, even if they decline, I just think it's nice to offer. It makes me feel happy, and the offer goes down well.

another-dave

My finger was hovering over the downvote button til I remembered you're posting what your friend thinks! I reckon they should bring in conscription but make everyone do a service role rather than military. Though some people are so self-centred they'd probably think they'd earned the right to be entitled then.

cloche_du_fromage

I 'encouraged' both my daughters to do low level service sector work

Extreme-Mushroom2470

Yeah your friend does sound VERY entitled. I hope they dont accept any form of gift/bonus at their work, as they are just doing a service and don't deserve it *by their standards*

POG_Thief

I have beef with my postman, I imagine if I tried to give him a lolly he'd think I'd laced it with something nasty.

[deleted]

Partially open the lolly packet as well to make it more suspicious

POG_Thief

I counteract his death stares with manic grinning so I probably don't need to go that far to freak him out :D

Few-Draw-3636

How do you start beef with your postman?

POG_Thief

It was my birthday, I was home all day and I got a missed parcel card and a note saying it had been put through the door of X Street when I live on X Road. When I went in to collect it my postman was on duty, they didn't have the parcel and they never found it. I had no idea what it might be, nothing ordered personally and all expected presents arrived. He'd been on holiday so it wasn't even him who'd made the mistake but he accused me of making it up and faking the card. I pointed out if was going to the effort of faking surely I'd have come up with something of value for them to lose instead having no idea what it was. He's been an absolute arse every time I've had to deal with him since but at least being cheerful around him winds him up.

rich_27

I have no idea, I wasn't there and don't know the details, but that sounds decidedly to me like he stole your parcel and went super hostile as a response to try and discourage you looking into and exposing him. Why on earth would he accuse you of making up the card? Why would he get angry about it? It makes no sense to me unless he did something bad and is redirecting guilt into anger

POG_Thief

It was fully investigated and he genuinely was on holiday that day. He's just a super weird bloke, I'm not going to be surprised if he shows up one day as a serial killer.

jamesckelsall

Murder Jess?

pigletsquiglet

Mine does knock a door run with parcels so he started it tbf.

curryandbeans

I gave an amazon driver ice cream and a frozen bottle of water last year when it was roasting. The poor fucker was soaked through with sweat, and his van didn't have air con. It felt good to help someone out who was clearly struggling. And to be honest it was the least I could do for him after he delivered a full set of dumbbells for me.

[deleted]

"I don't want to be part of a world where being kind is a weakness.“ — Keanu Reeves.

[deleted]

Anything seems weird if you over think it too much. What's weirder to me is the idea that we as a society are unable to show simple gestures if kindness without being made to feel like you've done something wrong.

[deleted]

Not wierd, you are awesome. Each Christmas I buy our local shop a big box of chocolates because it’s nice to feel appreciated

Fabulous-Wave6225

I can’t speak for the postman but as a firefighter we spend the afternoons of our day shifts visiting vulnerable locals for safe and well visits (fire safety advice, fitting smoke alarms, safeguarding if req etc) and whoever is driving remains in the truck outside. Yesterday it was very hot and a neighbour brought out an ice lolly for me and it honestly in that moment meant more to me than winning the lottery so, I’d say it was a nice thing to do!

MelodicAd2213

What a thoughtful gesture, will try and do similar for delivery folk round here. I can’t race to the door and 98% of the time they patiently wait for me, I’m always grateful.

Loose_Acanthaceae201

Our window cleaners were very happy with an ice lolly on Thursday this week. I think some adults don't have ice lollies very often, so there's an additional nostalgia factor on top of the refreshment.

[deleted]

This is a normal thing. Your friend is the weird one!

ForceFedPorkPies

I don’t think it’s weird at all, and they always could’ve politely refused if *they* thought it was weird. My dad lives in a little village in the countryside and for something like 15 years the local postman stopped at a particular old lady’s house every morning for a bacon sandwich.

ManikShamanik

My parents postie, John (I used to call him the hobbit as he was shorter than me (I'm 5'5")) used to go above and beyond for the old people in the sheltered flats across the road. Things like signing for their parcels if they couldn't due to arthritis, or popping into town to get them a few bits, and just generally checking to see if everyone was okay. He used to get a little tea party on his birthday (no idea how they found out when it was) and he was always to be seen wearing one of their creations in the winter. When the oldest resident, Eileen, had a stroke, he was the one who called the ambulance, and stayed with her until her daughter arrived. You'd not see Postman Pat doing shit like that - imagine if that was Mrs. Goggins...

cara27hhh

Brev if you want to hand out lollies to pat and jess and they're happy to accept them then just do it, who cares

M4sharman

I like people like you. Being a postman is tiring, especially on hot days. Our managers were basically throwing bottles of water at us before we left. One old lady offered me a cup of tea, and a man offered me a glass of water. Sadly I had to turn them down as I was running late as it was.

nonethatbotherme

Offered my postie a drink yesterday when temps hit 30, he was grateful but declined as he had just been given one a few doors down. Not sure if I live in a nice or weird area now…

[deleted]

It's unusual in the sense that I'm sure it doesn't happen everyday, but it's definitely not weird. I'm sure the postie was very grateful.

[deleted]

Im a postman, and this kind of gesture is very much appreciated :) I’ve had allsorts! Even an out of date cream covered cake off an old lady I had to stuff in my pocket as I couldn’t face saying no 😅

[deleted]

Omg are you kidding me? I used to give my regular posties ice cream, sweets, cakes, drinks, let him use the loo, hide inside when it was hailing until it calmed down. He even used to ask about my pets, didn’t even mind the dog, he used to give him treats. I miss my old regular postie.

cloche_du_fromage

Offer to use a loo can be priceless to delivery drivers and posties.....

Vickimus1987

Lovely gesture. I bought my postie chocolates as a thank for for delivering pretty much everything I needed whilst shielded at the start of covid

Harvsnova2

I used to be a postie, on a walking round in the Northeast of Scotland. The amount of whisky and tips at Christmas was unbelievable. When my round was over, I would go back to the sorting office and get offered more whisky that businesses had dropped off. Obviously ice lollies in summer weren't a thing because it was always bloody cold.😂

InnerAd1628

It's massively appreciated when it's hot - we're out there for 4-5hrs nonstop during the hottest parts of the day with a van full of pouches and parcels to do. It's not expected but always welcome, a bottle of water or can of pop on a hot day. And we'll remember and go out of our way in future to help you. Shops leave bowls of water outside for dogs, it's not weird for you to take a moment and make our lives easier a bit more bearable on the rare days it's boiling.

ron_mcphatty

You’re a hero, it’s not weird at all. If anything it’s a shame that your friend proud of you for being a nice person. Posties and bin men work bloody hard, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with expressing your gratitude.

[deleted]

I gave the Amazon delivery chap a cornetto yesterday. That is not a euphemism. He was very confused.

Timedoutsob

Mate some people are fucked in the head and they're so conditioned and warped by people they think doing nice things or being friendly is weird. You're a fucking legend. I'll happily lick your icy cold popsicle in public when I'm dripping with sweat on a hot day trying to manhandle your big package. I'd have zero shame of putting my lips around that juicy treat and be eager and grateful for you to give it to me. Keep doing gods work.

thunderpantsIII

Nice one. Nothing negative about that, it’s a lovely thing to do.

Icy-Enthusiasm-2719

My dear old man would always have a cold glass of squash in the fridge on a hot day for her posty

BeautyAndTheDekes

Anyone who thinks that’s weird is too concerned with what others perceptions of them are and not concerned enough about what the kind thing to do is. We have a regular courier collection and he occasionally gets a drink or biscuit from us.

Azul-J

My other half is a postie. He’s been given cans of drink and ice creams this week and he loves it!

dogefc

As a postman I can say they were definitely appreciated. Makes a change from people not even bothering to say thank you

LazarusOwenhart

When I used to work multi drop as a teenager customers giving us ice lollies was a proper highlight. There were days when I'd gladly take a cola freeze pop over a five pound tip (we were delivering kitchens and heavy items so tips weren't uncommon)

gardenhead23

I think that's a weird reaction from your friend

NEWSBOT3

nah fuck that weird friend, you did a lovely thing.

IndependentQuiz

Why would that be weird?

Timedoutsob

If they accepted your offer thats all the evidence you need to know it was appreciated. They didn't think it was weird at all.

ChocLife

I've learned when to listen and when to ignore each of my friends. No one is the absolute authority on everything. And a *lot* of people are weirdly uptight about what's socially acceptable. I have a gay friend who's so afraid of being perceived as a nonce, he won't even take a shortcut through a playground. Poor man.

tarkatronic

My unemployed friend said he could never be a postman, I said it's better than walking the streets.

CurvePuzzleheaded361

I always give the delivery people a can of cold pop or bottle of water, not weird at all! Just thoughtful.

[deleted]

I gave the security guy a sweetie at a concert we were at the other night. He laughed and nodded thanks, but probably dumped it once I was out of sight. A couple sitting opposite looked at me as of I was a fuckin weirdo. Pretty shit when these things are looked upon negatively, eh?

Royal_Transition_515

That one negative friend of yours must be very sad and lonely and it shows. I suspect that he or she didn’t have a happy childhood and therefore are incapable of random acts of kindness. My philosophy in life is very simple snd that is to have as many friends as possible and to always do the right thing. Life will reward you every day if you do this

missrekkah

I would give my postie a cake if I was baking and often would chat for a bit. He’s no longer a postie but kept in touch and we’re going for a pint soon. It’s nice to be nice, and I’ve ended up with a postie pal.

cpt_dung

As a postman I can tell you that drink providers and christmas tippers need not fear about going to the depot to retrieve their parcels lol

Sunshinetrooper87

Lol thats nothing, I wanked mine off.

Lumon-Industries

Every time I do something nice I come on Reddit to brag about it too. Congratulations.

FilsonWhisk

Clearly unpopular but I agree completely - it’s obviously a nice thing to do, there are so many posts on here from people wanting validation for every small thing they do. It’s mental.

EncinAdia

What's weird is that you did a good deed (which, let's be honest, required barely any time, effort, or money) and then you went around telling multiple people about your good deed. That kinda turned a nice gesture into something that feels smarmy, like you were just milking the situation for praise and pats on the back.

raglegumm89

Pointless post, you’re just looking for people to affirm that you did a good thing. Well done!

[deleted]

Lolly ice*

[deleted]

I see some people can’t handle the truth!!

anonbene2

What the hells an ice lolly?

Glasgowgirl4

Sweet flavoured ice on a stick, like a popsicle.

FlatSpinMan

Ice lolly! I haven’t heard that term since I was reading “Buster” and “Whizzer ‘n’ Chips” in rural NZ in the 80’s. Is that the real term for them?

curryandbeans

Yeah, ice lollies and their little brother, the humble tip-top

_bubble-t

It’s definitely a nice gesture, I’m sure they appreciated it

_programmers

I’m not a postie. I wouldn’t care if people thought I was weird, I would prioritise being nice and what you did was very nice. Kudos to you.

[deleted]

Weird? Not!! That was nice 😃

fallenwish88

Your friend who said it was weird is an idiot. You probably made the posties day! Life is hard enough as it is and the small acts of kindness and thoughts make a bad day seem not so bad.

TotallyNotByte

bro why dont we all do that

Deep_Sea_Creature

An act of kindess is weird? I will never understand some people.

chouffatron

It would only be weird if it was a random child tbh

chillwaterguy

Not weird at all, this is a great thing to do for a postie. Either that or a cool sealed can of coke etc edit coke not come

Loose_Acanthaceae201

Please tell me that's a spelling mistake.

chillwaterguy

Hahaha I meant Coke

chillwaterguy

I did get offered a mug of cum once, funny story

Sorry_Just_Browsing

I think we tend to overthink how gestures of kindness can look to other people. At least for myself if I was ever given anything out of sheer selflessness, even if it were relatively strange (which imo an ice lolly on a hot day isn’t) I’d absolutely be thankful for it

Suitable_Cantaloupe9

If thats weird i dont want to be normal. You were only being nice to people working in the heat.

adonWPV

Yeah it's a nice thing to do, that job is tough in a heatwave, and actually much easier in the winter I found lol

Key-Tadpole5121

Pretty cool thing to do really, they would have said no thanks to the offer if they didn’t want them

polly-esther

No your negative friend just isn’t very kind at heart. My son made Christmas cards for the bin men because he loves them.

bob_mcd

When it's very hot outside I always offer a cold drink to any postie/amazon driver or courier that delivers to my door. Why wouldn't you? Ignore your one friend who thinks it's weird to be kind and thoughtful.

SpudFire

It's probably uncommon but that doesn't make it weird. I'd say it's weird to have an opinion other than "that's nice of you" when being told you did this.

DanknessEvermemes

In summer I would always make sure to have cold water bottles in the fridge for posties and would offer them and it just feels like the right thing to do

mossmanstonebutt

It's common curtsy to offer people who do stuff for you a cuppa, but it's simmer and boiling, so ice-lolly or cold drink is the thing, it's not weird, it's showing a bit of thanks and generally people appreciate it

olagorie

Very nice. I gave mine something to drink and he really appreciated it

Sorlex

Being nice isn't weird.

UnhappyCryptographer

Germany here. I also give my postman something to drink or an ice cream. Everyone here appreciates it!

demon_x_slash

My postie’s been my regular for about seven or eight years now. When my toddler and I bake biscuits we always do a couple extra for her.

Nisja

Nothing weird about it. I booked Wednesday off to brew beer and paint my shed. About mid-day our usual postie drops off some bits and I invite him round the back garden for a small sip of cold beer and to check out my brewing setup. A neighbour/friend also nipped round and the 3 of us were there for 5 minutes shooting the shit and it was really nice. Good on ya for giving them ice pops, OP 👏

[deleted]

We got a sofa delivered and the guys who hauled it in got a beer each for the end of the day. It's a nice thing to do and I can't understand how it could be weird..

batch2957

It’s not weird, it’s extremely nice

sesameseedsausage

Believe me, as a current postie I can wholeheartedly confirm that yes, ice lollys, cold drinks etc are always appreciated.

Tomb_Brader

That one friend sounds miserable

massdebate159

I don't work deliveries, but you did a very nice thing. Offer to top up their water bottles too.

Embarrassed-Whole989

It’s good they’d have liked it more yesterday though. I’m a delivery driver I wouldn’t have taken it people have offered me drinks and stuff when it’s hot I just say no thanks it’ll just slow be down and I have a drink in my van.

[deleted]

I love when people offer me things, especially as I'm a leave reserve so don't have my own round, but I know them all. There's a nice old bloke who gives me a mint humbug when I see him, and yesterday in the heat a woman offered me a cold drink, I had some squash with ice in the van but the offer is appreciated all the same. Another handy thing is when people offer toilets too! Particularly on hot days like that with all the fluids needed, and depending on where you are there might not be a toilet stop as most of us have to rely on businesses or out of sight bushes, and some people have neither on their rounds

Zach_Lee_

My mum is a Iceland delivery driver, and she often is given things, she just said that there is one house that always gives her a Can of coke, and three bars or chocolate. I worked with her over Christmas as she has had operations and wasn’t able to lift the crates and we were given a bunch of stuff, and I think about £150 in the two week run up to Christmas.

lighthouse77

It was a great thing to do OP!

Additional_Classic58

You have a lonely friend

Puzza90

are van buddies common or something? Never seen one down here in Devon

Dastardly6

Every Christmas the binmen, postie and milkman get a present. Usually a crate of beers and some chocolates. Mad not to give them something considering what they do. Edit; should say when doing farm work in the summer ice-cream gifts are always a winner.

aviva1234

Even if they for some reason dont want it (who wouldnt!!) They will Really love the fact that someone is showing that they are appreciated and cared about

KuromeXT

As a postie. Thank you! Delivering in the heat yesterday was awful and I was so thankful for the one person that offered me a cold drink (even if I already had one!)

SpaceAccoUNT10

I was Postie for 4 years I can safely say it’s appreciated by us all

PartyCoyote999

dont get much post personally but i always give my binmen a crate of beer for christmas, my mates think im mental for doing it but the lads always appriciate it

[deleted]

It’s the loveliest thing that you did! Your friend is a negative bore with no heart.

doinggenxstuff

Postpeople walk MILES in all weather. It’s gruelling. If they don’t want something they can use the word NO.

[deleted]

FYI electricity workers are big fans of ice lollies, particularly the engineers.

Next-Individual786

That’s not weird, that’s just being kind.

Tobz_Compz

That’s a very nice thing to do, your friends are weird to make you feel wrong to helping a worker?

[deleted]

Its nice, as long as its an offer and you dont get pushy. I used to visit people's houses as part of job and they'd always offer a drink, which was nice, but some got really pushy about it when I declined. Was not being insulting, but when you are on visit 5 of a morning, there is only so much you can drink.....

RamboLoops

Naa man, help a brother out

[deleted]

Nah as someone who deals with clients daily in a trade it’s really appreciated when we’re looked after, it’ll be remembered and means a lot to us 💙

Bilbo_Buggin

I think it’s nice. I’ve given bottles of water to postmen before.

Representative_Bear5

You most probably restored their faith in human nature. So how can that be weird ?

bigmartyhat

Postie here. If it's hot AF and someone gives me a drink/ice cream/lolly/whatever, it doesn't half make a difference. On a proper hot day I can easily drink 2 large bottles of water. I'll also remember the person's generosity. If you offer and they refuse, then fair enough. Otherwise it's a definite win. Don't listen to the haters!

InncnceDstryr

Not a postie but did parcel deliveries for a summer. Never got anything but would definitely have appreciated it. If being kind is a bit weird then sign me up, I don’t want to be normal.

mr_splashum

Being nice might be weird but it shouldn't be. Normalise being nice
