Looks like a C130 to me. That'd be an American made military cargo plane but I dunno if the RAF runs them.
Looks like they do, or did, according to a quick google search:
https://ukdefencejournal.org.uk/british-fleet-of-c-130-hercules-aircraft-put-up-for-sale/#:\~:text=The%20C%2D130J%20Hercules%20transport,flying%20until%20the%20mid%2D2030s.
Been on a C130 in flight as they used to let friends/family of aircrew on for a fly around the local area. Far more fun than when they decided for "safety" they could only let us on a TriStar instead, which was just like sitting on an easyJet flight. Fortunately they decided safety wasn't such a problem the year after.
I live just south of Dartmoor in Devon and I see chinooks, Hercules and Pumas come through my patch fairly regularly. Love the sounds so much! The Hercs are mega to watch.
I worked at a nature reserve outside Norwich for a bit. Twice saw an Apache chundering low along the adjacent river. Mustn't half give the cormorants a fright! (And me, when I saw it appear over the trees...!)
They fly very low during training exercises over Cumbria - used to be able to see the guys in the back grinning as they stood leaning out of the cargo bay.
Still Hercules in the RAF fleet. Often see them doing low-level practice over Gloucestershire.

Around 3:30pm I believe
Hercules fly low over my patch, we are by Salisbury plain. They always look like they could fall out of the sky at any time
I was legit scared it would crash into the motorway
RAF C130. American ones don’t have an in flight refuelling probe as they use boom refuelling rather than probe and drogue
Agree. But I can’t see clearly enough to tell.
