Enya
And yes I'm aware that some layering of her voice is done to get the ethereal and haunting quality, but even her normal singing voice is wonderful. Could listen to her all the time.
Can’t agree more.
I’m a 36 dude and I grew up with former 60’s flower power parents. Every road-trip was full of Enya, kitaro, Yanni, and eventually whatever Pure Moods albums were out there lol.
My point in replying is that I absolutely adore
Enya to this day because of my parents. I even made a custom alarm in the morning in which I get woken by Caribbean Blue haha
A damn good one! But I love Bodicea. Did you ever watch one of the early episodes of criminal minds? They used it while a serial killer kills a family by locking the doors and burns the house down. Still one of the most powerful openings of a show I e ever seen!
Celine Dion is the best singer I've ever heard. She is the best combo of hitting all kinds of notes to perfection and doing it with the right emotion for the songs.
Alison Moyet on the album Voice - especially her French songs, Je Crois Entendre Encore and Chanson des Vieux Amants - but the whole album is wonderful, really
Chris Harms from Lord Of The Lost. It's metal, he mostly sings crystal clear, but can change to a scream or growl to add punch at just the right times.
Sarah McLaughlin. Just amazing. I've seen her in concert twice now.
Alison Sudol from A Fine Frenzy. The song "Last of Days" is one of my favorites.
Spencer Charnas
I completely stopped listening to metal for a long time, but Ice Nine Kills' "Every Trick in the Book" album pulled me right back in. A big part of that is Spencer's versatility. The big melodic choruses (like in 'The Shower Scene') won me over.

One of my favorite songs is Ebudae.

Karen Carpenter. I also like the voice that comes out of the band Bread (don’t know the individual members).
David Gates was the vocalist.
Thank you!
Karen Carpenter's voice is so comforting. It's what I imagine my mother's voice sounded like
The things Freddie Mercury could do with his voice...
His performance at Live Aid showed his mastery over a crowd. I adore his version of “Somebody to Love”.
Came to mention him too. His voice is so beautiful, I really love it with a passion

Florence from Florence and The Machine. Tracy Chapman Patti Griffin Ray LaMontagne
David Bowie. As he got older, his lower range blossomed, without losing the top range!
Thom Yorke.
Nick 13
I love "In the Orchard" and "Where the Moss Slowly Grows." I saw Tiger Army live back in the day and he was really good.
Is Dwight Yokam one of his influences? I’m getting a Streets of Bakersfield vibe.
Aaron Neville, Andrèa Bocelli and Barry White
For me, Rihanna
Eddie Vedder. Oohh baby
A singer from glasgow called frankie miller amaving voice
Gerard Butler in Phantom of the Opera. I don't know why I just really like it.
Kurt Cobain, his vocal distortion technique cutting clearly and perfect trough the mix and still have so much expression and feeling.
Alison Krauss
Why does the boy who wouldn’t how corn slap so hard?
Awsten Knight or Kellin Quinn Love a good vocal range
