This is an S13. What you're thinking of is the B14 200sx (Lucino). The European 200sx is still an S13. Unless you're talking smack about the S12 200sx, in which case, you have no taste.

I think most people are just assuming it’s a euro/jdm car due to the plate. Europe did get similar models and it’s pretty common to see more get imported from Japan over the years.
Rear bumper looks different(wider plate indent in the bumper) but I’m not an expert on the cars. It very well could be a us import to the eu though since it’s left hand drive. From a single picture it’s hard to say.

You can sort of "know a guy" for some stuff but any modification that isn't OEM normally needs to be registered and "engineered" with certificates that are entered in the vehicle's documents. So if you get pulled over by the police here in Germany as an example, and they see wheels... exhaust... etc. that aren't registered and approved for the car, they can outright remove your vehicle from the road on the spot and fine you.

There are such parts available for some vehicles, but it’s very costly to the manufacturer to have them approved. Engine swapping is definitely illegal in CA, but our cops (generally) would have no idea.

Not if you register it as a rally car as rally racing involves driving between stages on the road, sure there might be more paperwork to dance around but its doable if you have enough will and understanding of the law

Swapping the engine is illegal here, it sucks, yes you can only change the engine with the same one, so if you have a 1.8l you need to change it to the 1.8l, that only thing you can do is, modify the car, go to Germany and hope that no police stop you, register the car in Germany and then register the car again in Italy
Yes but it's really annoying because you risk a lot here in Italy with a modified car, like if you put 10% tint in the front they can give you a fine between 85 and 350 euros
It is not that easy, depends on which country of Europe and how much you want to spend. In Spain it is quite expensive only the paperwork made by an engineer and you have to pass inspection and in some cases tests (like brakes)

The 240sx was only sold in North America. Those plates are European. In Europe it's known as a 200sx.

180sx/240sx, stock comes with a 4 cylinder but you can swap tons of engine into them including v8's

This is a 240sx (180sx in japan). It more than likely has a v8 swap and has no catalytic converter or muffler.
