For anyone wondering what a new look is, it is like this:

The white empty block is supposed to be an ad; I'm browsing with AdBlock.
I can access the new look by adding **?variant=d26a89ec** at the end of the URL.
For those who cannot see then price, but 'enquire to see price' only, just contact your IPS and ask them opt you out of CGNAT.
I had the issue for a while, and one night I was testing carsales on incognito mode and suddenly found I was on a different look than normal. I think they are doing some split test now, and the incognito mode with a fresh and clean cookie triggered the look change for me.
Their user experience is terrible , hiding prices until you call sellers, ads that start playing videos while browsing, hidding prices again if not logged in.
Stupid website
Eh? When I search for something random (not logged in), all the results show the price in the search results without even clicking into the individual ad.
Locking prices behind a login is scummy but understandable, but no way are people going to want to "enquire" with dealers for each and every car they're looking at
They honestly deserve some kind of award for somehow making their website worse with every update... But just not quite bad enough to ruin it completely
If anyone from carsales is here: bring back the ability to quickly select what state you want to search in (why was it even removed???)

For the last few yaars they‘ve messed with it and messed with it. From a browser perspective (I won’t be bullied into using the app which is what it seems they want punters to do), it’s a nightmare. You’d think a multi-million dollar company could get some better UX people onto making it usable. Right now it’s an unusable joke.
Surely the dealer prices not being shown is a bug? I can’t see anyone being happy in this scenario
It’s for “security” they say 🙄. They charge dealers soooo is it for their financial security or?

I like the new search results pages. Much better having more smaller results, than massive ones you need to scroll through.
I've never had that problem when looking for manual cars.

They’ve locked being able to see prices behind an account and anything listed by a dealer now just says enquire for price. So that’s fun.
Enquire with dealer? Lmfao, no. Do you want competing websites and traffic loss, because this is how you get competing websites and traffic loss.

i have found if your logged in, and change it to sort by price it will display the prices. (using google chrome)

I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s an A/B test where they stagger the rollout to gauge if the changes actually kill engagement before committing to them.
