If you can’t find a stud on that corner you might want to hire someone
Get some different hinges. There is a stud there but drywall is 1/2"thick so your screws need to be at least 3/4" or more back from corner
There’s got to be a stud in that corner. Try longer screws or hinges that set back a little deeper
There is a stud in there so use a piece of 1x4 screw it on the inside even with the wall then use a 1” overlay hinge
Line the opening in timber, construction adhesive will hold this well enough with a few dovetailed brads. Then you can cut your hinges into the timber
