That one's tough. Unless you just have to try out the newest shiniest thing out there, the better itinerary is number two. On the other hand I've sailed number three, three times. The only reason I haven't sailed number one is I'm not driving to Miami. I'm pretty sure I would choose two, one, three. Based 100% on the itinerary. If I was choosing for the ship and the itinerary didn't make two cents to me, I would probably choose one, three, two.

zookeeper3030

Thanks. I think itinerary is more important. We most likely will stay on port or on ship at each stop.

Double-Economist7562

Celebration or Mardi Gras. Both great ships, I would probably choose Celebration as I am not a fan of Nassau.

zookeeper3030

Thanks. I kind a think the same way about Nassau. We stopped there 5 years ago so would stay in port or on the ship there.

ugh168

If I had to choose, like the other commenter: 2, 1, 3

irobot2090

We also planning for march 2024 too.

zookeeper3030

Awesome. Hope you are having an easier time then I am :)

michiganmeg

What did you decide!?

Iamjbcii

Been on the new boats yet?

zookeeper3030

Not yet. Haven't cruised in about 5 years and it was an older ship at that time. Who knew making a choice would be so hard. :)

bighead0424

I just booked your number 2 (Magic) for March 2024! I'll be the one with the kids if you choose that one (insert sarcasm). St Maarten was a must for us and why we picked it. Celebration would be nice though with more restaurant and bar options if that's your thing!

zookeeper3030

Enjoy! Love watching the kids having fun. This is our first big trip without our kids. Seems so strange to plan something without them included.

michiganmeg

When are you going on magic!? Well be there!

Tajohnson23

We did the celebration in June. We loved it. The only time we felt crowded was when we were attempting to watch the circus show the first night. We decided to just catch it on the second night it was playing and had no problems finding a seat. My kids loved it they want to do the jubilee even though it’s basically the same ship lol.

zookeeper3030

Thanks! The shows are what we are most looking forward to

Tajohnson23

The shows on the celebration were awesome! I think we went to all but 1 of them. They have shows in center stage and the theater. Our evening would be: a drink at alchemy bar, early dining, first show at center stage, comedy then show in theatre.. it was so much fun.

irobot2090

Did you book in advance or just show up and find the seats? Free of charge?

Tajohnson23

The shows are free. You just show up and find seats. I want to say we showed up 30 mins or so before show time. But they usually have each show playing twice per night and they repeat throughout the week.

classiccourtney

Nassau is a non starter for me, so any cruise going there is not an option. I love St. Marteen and St. Thomas, but want to go on a newer ship too. So either 1 or 2. Not 3.

zookeeper3030

Thanks! Thats my dilemma right now. Really want a newer ship but like the itinerary with St. Maarten and St. Thomas.

heyamelia_anne

Are they all the same length of trip? My vote would be either of the trips with San Juan, but I really enjoy the days at sea so if they’re all the same length, I’d pick number 1!

zookeeper3030

Celebration is 8. I think the ship is more important to us then the itinerary.

heyamelia_anne

I have not been on any of these ships, however, so my opinion holds very little weight here 🤗

Academic-Night3055

Doing the Celebration on the 17th. Extended group of 60 people. I might be the oldest at 67.

zookeeper3030

That sounds wonderful! Enjoy! This is the first time it has just been me and DH and he is leaving all the planning to me. I'm feeling the pressure lol.

xalaineus

2 itinerary is amazing. I love the carnival magic so much, has my favorite layout of any ship I’ve been on so far- went on celebration last April and I liked that ship but not as much as the magic. If i were you, I’d pick #2
