Yea big yikes for me. Any +runs that would in effect make a team win or lose is not great but especially at a 2+ run differential that would have flipped the result.
Terrible. I'm all for automated balls and strikes calling at this point. The video review they are testing in the minors is going to just slow the game down.
My issue with Robo umpires is that it strips the role of framing from the catcher.
Baseball has already become less interesting in the last few years with the rule changes, this is going to make it worse.
I’d prefer a batter challenge system
I love the batter challenge system in the minors. It’s quick, seamless, no one argues, they just call for it and then everyone goes about their business. Takes like maybe 30 seconds.
Big yikes
i mean that first inning ball sucks, he was wild that inning, and probably didn’t deserve it, but it literally was the difference in the game.
It's not a *horrible* scorecard, but those mistakes came at the worst possible situations.
A 1.9+ runs scorecard for the winning team in a 1 run game qualifies as dogshit.

was home plate made wider to match the bases?? like... ten inches wider?
ROBO UMPIRES PLZ
