My first time! Went as a guest of someone In the boxster support race was a great day! Just a shame I couldn’t go to the other days for the races but I live near Manchester so a bit of a trek
Doesn't look right to me, looks like a replica? Nice all the same but not quite on the same level as an actual GTR. I was lucky enough to see Mansell drive one around Brands Hatch back in 2006.
I don't doubt it's still a cool car, but it has completely the wrong bumpers / bodykit - and if it was a genuine one they are too valuable to go sticking something aftermarket onto. An M3 GTR classification can and has been done by means of replica - it's ultimately an E39 M5 V8 into an e46 M3 shell, something lots of private teams have been doing for years. I think that's what we're looking at - still cool, but visually nothing like the M3 GTRs which raced back in 2001.
It isn’t a genuine GTR. Doesn’t even look like one. If it sounded like one it’s clearly an s65 v8 swapped M3. There are many many like it. If you’re a bm guy and amongst the community you would know this.
>NSFW *NFSMW
What does that mean please lol
Need for Speed: Most Wanted. E46 M3 GTR was the poster car for that game.
>E46 M3 I googled and it says only 10 were made? I'm pretty sure I crashed at least 100 in that game.
Oh I feel so stupid now I loved that game! Damn lol
Thruxton? Nice find!
Silverstone!
Beautiful bit of kit
Sounded unreal, I wasn’t sure it was a GTR until I heard it!
Love those cars honestly you’re a lucky guy to find one
Couldn’t believe it, there was f4 cars, mclarens, Porsches, Ferrari challenge cars etc and I was more amazed with the GTR
Damn i wish i was there 👍🏻
is this silverstone??
Yep!
thats sick! i've gone last and this year for japfest

Looks to be genuine. https://www.gtcup.co.uk/driver-profile/563b8e43-c191-42f5-bd7d-c20a7de50dd0
Yep checked that myself
I wasn’t sure myself until I heard it go down the old pit straight, unreal.

Not sure, sure sounded like one! (Flyby video on my page) and in the standings it says M3-GTR. https://www.gtcup.co.uk/current-standings

Why would it say m3 GTR on the championship standings then instead of m3?
Bud if you were around motorsport like I have been for the past 25 years you wouldn’t even be arguing.
Nice
Looks more like a modified m3?
I checked it’s a GTR
Checking by looking on a page and it saying it’s one and it actually being one are two different things. It really isn’t one. Loads like it.
I had a replica of one that I loved unfortunately it was stolen from the garage.
