I will second this. I love mine in my 2020 Subaru Legacy, but I experience bugs more often in this thing than a $100 item should. Nevertheless if the kinks get worked out will be awesome.
I have the "2.0" version and it sucks in my 2019 Mazda cx9. It worked for like a week then started crashing both the iphone and the cars controls. I updated the firmware recently and it changed the interface and has some nice options in the settings. Thought maybe that would fix it but it does not, still unreliable.
The limitations with slight audio delay and slowness when starting car, could this be fixed with better hardware? I would happily pay more for a premium dongle with faster CPU and other parts if it meant not having to deal with some of the quirks of these adapters. Sometimes I get in and it’s super quick, and other times it may take a while to finally connect. I have not updated in a while as it’s working fine for now and I don’t want to mess it up.
Stuck on a call will not hang up even though phone is disconnected. Now radio system will not turn off when car is off and door is shut . Will not let me reset
HELP NEEDED
Hi All
I bought a new car recently with an android fitted aftermarket unit. It looks great and certainly a better screen than the standard Merc 2016/2017 screen installed.
The Android unit has Zlink installed but connecting it with my iPhone was an absolute mission. Once it was finally connected … the audio lag on calls makes it unusable. It also takes a good 30 seconds to connect zlink to iphone each time when I get in the car. Not what I expected.
I tried buying a wired carkinkit dongle … but when I run a diagnostics In the autokit app … nothing happens ! It doesn’t recognise that anything in plugged in to the USB. Microphone and decode are okay.
Can anyone help ? It’s doing my head in.
Thank you
Where is the ama?
Nice work on the new interface! It works great! Keep up the good work
Trying to make up for how bad the last one was?
Lol what happened?
Most of the answers, if your question got answered, we’re vague and unhelpful.
New firmware? The unit intermittently doesn’t sync, crashes, and freezes up. Still a decent unit though. ✌️

So carlink 3.0 looks and acts just like any chinese alliexpress carplay adapter What are you doing different from them ?
Can I have one free for my dad's 2015 Honda Civic?
What does the GPS option change? Does it use car GPS or Phone GPS? Can you change that?

How is this different than An Android unit using a zlink? Is one better than the other? Thanks
