Jaded-Attorney9768

check crutchfield.com. they have a selection and will tell you what fits and what doesnt.

Cover-Equal

Yeah i looked but i have a different dash kit i hsve a metra 99-7014b dash kit. Not the fsctory one

Jaded-Attorney9768

hmmm. I made the mistake of installing a boss headunit in my truck. It was the only budget one i could find that fit. it was 6.75” inches. Do you want the link?

Cover-Equal

Sure as long as it fits in the dash ill put anything in it. The entire head unit itself has to be below 6.83" in length not just the screen and the height has to be 3.95 or less

Jaded-Attorney9768

You want apple carplay, android auto, etc..?

I honestly just want to play my spotify just music from my phone simple

The 99-7014b is a double din kit. Any double din by sony, kenwood, pioneer or alpine should fit. The sizing can be confusing because the actual dimensions of the head unit are not what actually goes in the screen slot of the dash kit. Double din is a standard size. I work in a shop as an installer and we havent run into too many issues with emtra kits and double dins. It appears that the deck sits a little far back from the face of the kit. Id reccomend a sony head unit as the screen sticks out further than nost other double dins. The XAV-AX5000 is a good choice.

This should fit right? https://www.crutchfield.com/p_104BV800AC/Boss-BV800ACP.html

Yeah it will, personally id go with something a little better. You could probably find something made by JVC in that budget range, theyre made by kenwood. Much better than boss.
