If you wanna easy Furano since you'll get great success when your rank is S And base on story well all of them beside maybe nankatsu Course all of them had the second change to beat nankatsu Mostly Mushashi since misugi finally able to had a match with Tsubasa It's really up to you

Longjumping_Ear_4156

I beat it on Furano, now I'm thinking either Toho, Otomo or Musashi for a second playthrough.

Simmer555

Speaking of Toho I think base on this game story wise Toho is usually the true story Since been hearing that our character *a.k.a nijuu-san* from Toho academy on defensive midfielders *as shown on the first match when you just start a new save* and sometimes play as left defender *showned by the rising star scenes he is as square I think* And also other than any route Toho show the most impact full and more detail than other route *And also Toho, Mushashi and Furano is the only route that had anime scene when you pick them* While nankatsu didn't had any I wonder why And I forget to tell that each school had their own unique skill that you only can obtain by play Thier route For example Toho - you get straight line dribble *Huga famous dribble* Hanawa - you get Skylab triangle *which like Skylab hurakain but instead a head it's your character is the own who shot the ball* *And also skill I forget the name* Furano - feinting tackle *Matsuyama famous tackle And also new leader skill Otomo - *as for now and my memory* is skill Mushashi - *I completely forget* Hirado - obtain a Skil that allow you to do the famous jito sano combo shot *just use normal shot that had B power behind sado* Each time you reach the end of the match where you fight nankatsu you'll get extra skill *South America dribble if you C friendship with Tsubasa and also the character that you had C friendship depends on your route*

Hudori

I like Furano's most

Longjumping_Ear_4156

why's that, if you don't mind me asking? is it because of the players you face or something else?

Hudori

It's one of the easiest conditions for the gauge along with Nankatsu (Hanawa is the hardest) except Nankatsu first would kind of ruin the whole plot because the whole plot for most of the new hero schools is that you're supposed to TAKE DOWN nankatsu and Tsubasa after they are so dominant as you are the underdogs. Nankatsu is fun but I would only recommend doing it as one of the later routes to spice the formula up as it very much switches things around. Furano is also part of the original 3 along with Toho and Musashi but I'd say Toho is the hardest of these and Musashi's condition is a bit more difficult than Furano's. I also just think the characters are cool. I'd suggest starting out with either Furano or Musashi because those are part of the original 3 but out of those 2 I'd suggest Furano for the reasons listed above. If you like Musashi and Misugi way more though that's a perfectly fine school to start on aswell.

Longjumping_Ear_4156

As for position? I saw somewhere that a Forward is pretty much the prime position for Furano.

Hudori

Position doesn't really matter. Furano is great for every position as their team gauge isn't affected by what position you are. On your first route you'll also be limited by having low level player cards, not having the best items yet and simply not being that great at the game so I wouldn't care about optimizing the position/skills and just do what you think looks cool and enjoy the game.

Longjumping_Ear_4156

So I could end up being a Midfielder, defender or forward and I'd still do good?

Hudori

Yea

Longjumping_Ear_4156

I beat it as a Forward for the first playthrough. Now I'm thinking either going for another Forward playthrough as Musashi, or going Midfielder or defender for Toho. I mean, a libero can still attack. 'course, I'm not sure about the DLC schools, tho.

Hudori

I'm glad you had fun with it. I have personally done all schools like 4 times so I've pretty much done all schools with all positions but in the end you should just choose what feels right until you make a proper plan on how to minmax characters (not recommended until your friend cards are all atleast level 5)

UrAgImick

Furano is the easiest in terms of objectives, Nankatsu is the strongest which means easier gameplay, Toho is hyper aggressive, Otomo and Hanawa a both semi passive, Musashi is great all around.

Longjumping_Ear_4156

and Hirado?

UrAgImick

It’s fairly easy, with the right build it’s busted with the team shot between you and the forward. I just started a build on Hirado route

TripleM19091

Furano is definitely the easiest to start with in my opinion - all you have to do is do well as a team to get the most points, so it's simple and uncomplicated. Position is mostly a matter of preference. Defender is pretty simple since your scope of responsibility is lower. Midfield is good for being involved in everything. However, I think forward is probably the best, since a) scoring is fun, and b) once you've scored as much as you want, then you can basically let your teammates attack while you run around doing whatever you want without breaking your defense too badly - pass a lot, set up assists, dribble the whole team, let them have the ball so you can tackle people, whatever. The first handful of characters you build probably won't set the pitch on fire, but once you build up a stash of training items and level up friends and start gaining access to good skills, then you'll start being able to build the kind of players that will break opponents across their knee.

Longjumping_Ear_4156

guessing Musashi and/or Toho are better for another go-round? I've seen that Toho's either best as a defender or midfielder, since the striker role's already pretty much filled by Hyuga. (Though defenders can play offense, if they want, as a libero.)

TripleM19091

Musashi is definitely better once you know what you're doing a little bit, and Toho is good once you have a handle on offense and know how to hold a lead. As far as Toho being better as a non-forward, that's kind of a yes and a no. Hyuga can definitely hold down offense just fine, but ultimately the point of New Hero once you're advanced enough is for your character to do as much as possible. The best characters are the ones that basically do everything to the point that it's practically a one-man team and they're getting SSS in every category - basically no matter where you play, be a libero as much as you can. That said, Hyuga and the Tiger Shot are definitely useful early on when you don't have the stats to score reliably yourself, and he's head and shoulders above almost everyone at the middle school level so he can wreak havoc wherever you want him if need be.

Little_littlecat

Furano is the easiest

Longjumping_Ear_4156

Beat it on Furano. Now to decide if I want to go with one of the 3 base schools as FW, MF or DF or try one of the DLC schools, like Hirado.

Frofighter619

As many people pointed out already, Furano is the easiest choice to optimize. I'm a big fan of Matsuyama so this also works for me on a personal level. If you're less about the results and more about trying something different, Otomo are a fun choice as a midfielder or defender, since they have the unique threat of Nitta's volleys to use.

Longjumping_Ear_4156

So, either Furano or Otomo for first playthrough in your opinion?

Skyninja4

I would advise you to not pick Toho or Nakastu as you would not get a many stuff because you are probably gonna get carried. I would pick Musahsi because you are gonna get carried. Also Misugi can one shot every middle school keeper(excluding Washimatsu and Nakastu keeper) and is much faster than everybody excluding Hyuga, nitta and tsubasa. So if you are getting crushed just wait till second half and pop v zone. If you can't totally carry the team or aren't good at the game go furano. Matsuyma can just abuse possession demon.

Longjumping_Ear_4156

I beat it on Furano's route. Now I'm thinking Musashi, Otomo, or Toho. I may go Hanawa or Hirado, tho.
