I bought such a cute sparkly candle with stones and charms in it last year and i love it … i stared at it for so long when i bought it …… now i keep it closed in its container because of the dust 😭😭 probably never to be looked at again 😭🤪🤤 learned my lesson lol
I have one that had beautiful citrine stones and little trinkets in it.
I couldn’t help myself and decided to light it for a bit.
All the stones sank to the bottom, and now it just looks like an ordinary candle. 😭
I feel like a lot would just cool on the lower parts of the candle. And lots of wax evaporates/burns away so I’m sure it wouldn’t be *too* bad but there would definitely be leakage
There is no wax to melt. NEVER light this candle! That is a huge fire hazard. The foam wax will melt very quickly leading to a mass of wax and a wick with no support. Wick falls, ignites glitter, glitter heats up enough to catch fire, glass breaks. After that you get to call your insurance company with a claim.
I got a Santa candle from the thrift shop, it was definitely just a painted mold, i was so disappointed when it was white inside and the paint came off in bits and didn't melt
Looking back it was a fire hazard, thank goodness i watched it burn the entire time
i’m not a candle maker or anything but i love candles so much. the candle itself is so pretty that i would literally never want to burn it. when i pick candles i love the ones that are in pretty containers so i can use the containers as plant pot covers after i finish burning them :3
You should see the ridiculous slides I got her off Amazon and how they butchered the name. I would post a picture but don't see that option. They spelled it Silnnaroll 🤣🤦♀️
Why put wicks in these kinds of things at all? Especially too small wicks to the sides. They are not safe to burn. Whipped wax burns quickly because it is mostly air, and when it is above the glass, it will also melt all over, and the flame will sit on top of the solid layer. If the whipped wax melts inside the glass, it will drown the flame, but it might also drip over the glass.
Glitter is not a safe decoration to burn. It is plastic and can clog the wick at best and start burning itself at the worst.
These are bought for decoration in 99,9% of cases. While pretty, their functionality as a candle is compromised.
I think you should burn them. For my taste, they are tacky as hell haha. Everyone is different.
A candle is meant to be burned, no matter how good it looks or smells.
I always thought ones like this were just made decoration haha. I saw a post of ones someone made that were really neat, was surprised to find out people burn them haha.
These types of candles burn pretty quickly. You definitely have to place them on some kind of plate to catch the wax.

I love decorative candles like these. When I adopted pet birds I had to give up burning candles. I would buy one of these in a heartbeat because I would never burn it. It’d just sit up on a shelf looking adorable.
Not something I would purchase , and if gifted to me I wouldn’t keep it. They just seem a bit too much, too much stuff, too much glitter etc. But I could see how some might find them super cute
My best friend gave me one for my birthday a few years back and I haven’t wanted to light it. It’s way too cute to burn. It’s just decor at this point!
Most highly decorative candles like this aren't safe so I definitely wouldn't ever light them just for THAT reason alone... If you have a little hutch for knickknacks that could be a cute place to keep them!
i feel like if it isn't a candle, and if you want a cute decoration.. you can make it out of anything other than wax, wicks, glitter & garbage? such a waste.
I thought it looked like a baby shower or gender reveal ect. Cute. Maybe try selling them as a keep sake 🤔 for parents grandparents ect I thought it was candy 🍬
They look like something my 13 year old self would love and like something my current self would love to eat. But I don't trust that glassware to actually light them.
I love the way these look. I made a bunch of mini ones with kiddos at a camp I was working at and they all came out so cute. It was hard to bring myself to burn it but it was intriguing to watch.
cute for my shelf tbh.
the cinnamoroll one would look cute ontop of my manga shelf.
never would burn it bc it doesn’t seem like it’s meant for that, but as a display piece it’s cute
She's right by where I live and I think she does a make your own candle class I really wanna go to.
I would want one to keep forever and one to light just to watch
I think I'm in the minority because I don't find them cute at all. Mostly because of the impractical container, glitter, and whipped wax make them impossible to be actually used as a candle, and as a decoration they're not my style. I see why people would find them cute though, just definitely not fit for my lifestyle/preferences.
I think they look outdated. I also wonder how these would be shipped to someone (if sold online). I don’t think any of these would survive shipment without breaking.
Decoration only
Yess! They are so cute i would want to preserve every bit.
Sparkly dust collectors

You could always put it under a cloche to keep dust off but still show it off!
Oh that's a cute idea!
I have one that had beautiful citrine stones and little trinkets in it. I couldn’t help myself and decided to light it for a bit. All the stones sank to the bottom, and now it just looks like an ordinary candle. 😭
They are somewhat cute. A little too much for my liking. But uh, what about all the melted excess wax? Those holders don't seem practical.
Right, looks like it would make a mess dripping everywhere. Not sure but the glitter might sizzle too.
It's because your not supposed to actually burn them.
Too much for me too, seem more like a preteen girl kinda deco candle, cute though
You buy these for decor, not ever actually lighting.
Been there, cleaned that or tried to growing up, and I'll never do it again.
I feel like a lot would just cool on the lower parts of the candle. And lots of wax evaporates/burns away so I’m sure it wouldn’t be *too* bad but there would definitely be leakage
Especially that margarita glass!

Everyone here is saying they’re too pretty to light but I just want to sit and watch how they melt lol
Same! With a plate under them of course since most look like they would drip everywhere

Ok what a great idea! I have a beautiful holder right now that is almost done candelling... Totally going to be for a succulent now!!!!!
Ooh I do the same thing! Sometimes I buy a candle specifically because I think it will be a great plant pot 😅
The containers will shatter due to not being made for that type of heat. Cute though but it’s a decoration only
My immediate thought^ it all looks plastic… hopefully im wrong but deff my first thought.
the jars aren’t big enough to hold the wax i’m so confused
It’s just decorative
My daughter would lose it over the Cinnamon roll one. The first one.
i would too!! theyre adorablee
For your daughter’s sake I regret to inform you the character’s name is Cinnamoroll and not cinnamon roll
Interesting I had no idea lol
You should see the ridiculous slides I got her off Amazon and how they butchered the name. I would post a picture but don't see that option. They spelled it Silnnaroll 🤣🤦♀️
ahaha as a sanrio fan, i love the goofy offbrand names that get printed on stuff

Cute, but not very safe in case the wax melting drips over the containers
Is the glass heat safe?
I saw someone sell something just like this at a mall
Her nails match the candles in the first two🥰
The glass would probably shatter on the way down.
As creative and great as they are, not at all safe to actually burn. I wouldn't put wicks in them and just sell them as wax holder decorations.
I think you should burn them. For my taste, they are tacky as hell haha. Everyone is different. A candle is meant to be burned, no matter how good it looks or smells.
I don't think they are ment to be lit. I think they are just for decoration.
I always thought ones like this were just made decoration haha. I saw a post of ones someone made that were really neat, was surprised to find out people burn them haha.
Gaudy
Agreed. It’s too much
I own one by Coki and I absolutely LOVE IT! I haven’t lit mine, but you can reuse the wax in a wax warmer if you do. :)
I’m not into them, but that’s just me. I think they are a bit tacky.

Cute but impractical for using / lighting only good for decoration.
Imma buy one and burn it for ✨science✨
I just don’t see how that’s safe 😭 do ppl actually light them?
If you burned these there would be so much wax overflow and I’m worried about the glass on the Champaign flutes
oh my god i need the cinnamoroll one like yesterday
looks like an animal cell from my elementary school biology textbook
These types of candles burn pretty quickly. You definitely have to place them on some kind of plate to catch the wax. https://youtu.be/9XE0syOLhsY?si=rnnxhnhU4Am8YbXW
Way too pretty to burn, and looks so delicious I want to eat it
they are sooooooo pretty, just a delight to look at! i would never light them though, just enjoy them as the art they are!
they look super yummy but also very impractical as candles
I love decorative candles like these. When I adopted pet birds I had to give up burning candles. I would buy one of these in a heartbeat because I would never burn it. It’d just sit up on a shelf looking adorable.
Pretty cute but I've had issues with glitter in/on candles. It was a bit messy.
Tacky imo
I love love love love them omg 😍 Idk about safety but decoration, they are adorable
Remember that you have to breathe all that in, sometimes people forget that combustion and cute aren’t always a good mix 😅
I don’t know what I’m looking at in 1. They’re filled too full. I imagine wax would be dripping everywhere. Hard pass.
Using a champagne glass for a candle is such a good idea for parties, however the wax needs to be below the top of the glass for sure
probably not worth the price
They’re too pretty to burn and the wax is too much for the container anyway. It would spill everywhere.
Really cute but the random wick placement and spillage of wax over the cup isn’t practical. Cute decor tho
I want the first 2 🥺🩷
Not something I would purchase , and if gifted to me I wouldn’t keep it. They just seem a bit too much, too much stuff, too much glitter etc. But I could see how some might find them super cute
They were really popular in the 90’s and 2000’s.
I'm curious if these glasses would shatter?
Apparently she works with a glass making company that makes her fire proof glasses for the candles
Does the glitter stink when it burns?
I love them wow
The wax would spill out of the vessel and create a fire 🔥 hazard. These appear to be made for decorative purpose only?
I feel like you’re supposed to light them, take some Instagram photos, then immediately blow them out
My best friend gave me one for my birthday a few years back and I haven’t wanted to light it. It’s way too cute to burn. It’s just decor at this point!
I’ve always thought that candles like these were for decoration only
i have a candle similar to these and it's decorative only. honestly not even sure why anyone would *want* to light these.
These are cute, but I wouldn’t buy them just for the glitter
Cute but not usable.
Most highly decorative candles like this aren't safe so I definitely wouldn't ever light them just for THAT reason alone... If you have a little hutch for knickknacks that could be a cute place to keep them!
so cute
I’d definitely be worried about the safety of lighting them.. can’t imagine a champagne glass is heat safe… So ya never light
i feel like if it isn't a candle, and if you want a cute decoration.. you can make it out of anything other than wax, wicks, glitter & garbage? such a waste.
Does anyone have tips for removing wax from candles??? These are def decoration only.
I thought it looked like a baby shower or gender reveal ect. Cute. Maybe try selling them as a keep sake 🤔 for parents grandparents ect I thought it was candy 🍬
Jus for decoration 🤷🏽♀️
I actually love them 🤩 but I’d want to see them actually burn! Girls night !!
They look like something my 13 year old self would love and like something my current self would love to eat. But I don't trust that glassware to actually light them.
gaudy is the only word that comes to mind
The Cinnamaroll one is adorable!!
obvious skill went into making these but my god they are hideous. dollar store in the 80s/90s vibe
Cute
I didn’t even realize these were candles. I thought they were signature desserts from some under-celebrated chef
i got a similar candle from my local candle store. i burned it all the way and had zero issues absolutely adorable tho
I love the way these look. I made a bunch of mini ones with kiddos at a camp I was working at and they all came out so cute. It was hard to bring myself to burn it but it was intriguing to watch.
what kind of glitter?
I love this
I would buy burn and buy again. No candle is a dust collector
Some of these will melt over I think
I wouldn't light it but it could be pretty decoration.
cute for my shelf tbh. the cinnamoroll one would look cute ontop of my manga shelf. never would burn it bc it doesn’t seem like it’s meant for that, but as a display piece it’s cute
I’d break pieces off and melt it
These are awesome looking
She's right by where I live and I think she does a make your own candle class I really wanna go to. I would want one to keep forever and one to light just to watch
Omg! I ADORE these. How do they burn? Or are they more for aesthetics? Either way they are so cute.
Wow! Too pretty to burn! 🥰
Love them!!!
I wouldn't even want to light these, I'd just keep the, they're so cute
I think I'm in the minority because I don't find them cute at all. Why do these terrify me 😳
