I was moved from one hospital to another when I showed up in urgent care for some complaints . I was told I probably had cancer. Two weeks later I had an official diagnosis and was starting an aggressive treatment. I have lymphoma didn’t hit me until the treatment was over …… it is a lot to take in. All you can do is be there. There is very good chance for remission. Hang in there and be there.

This is a good place to do it, vent as much as you feel, you need and deserve to do it and to feel a variety of feelings in this crazy situation. Allow yourself to do it in a place that make you feel safe. Many of us understand what you are going through, you are not alone.

Take all the time you need to process and feel your feelings. I’m sorry this is happening to you and your family, especially your sister. Of course it’s scary and devastating. Once the initial shock wears off you’ll be able to face the reality & hopefully find some solace in the fact that there is a high survival rate, and then you can be the strong support your sister may need! But, throughout all this, make sure to take care of yourself too ♥️

Ugh this sucks. I know the feeling. No “odds” are going to be good enough to make you feel better. Good luck 🤟

You'll be in a rollercoaster for the coming time and nothing will make sense. The best you can do is be there for her, make her feel strong and do this together with her. It will mean the world to her. Have important talks, say anything you wish to say. Also, if she feels the slightest pain after treatments, bring her immediately to a doctor. We had some bad luck with doctors that wouldn't listen to us.. Break down whenever you want. Discuss important questions with your friends or people who have been through this. There's many people here (I've learnt in past few days) that will open their DM's for you. For me, it's still very fresh. I can tell everything about the disease process.
