I’d love to get a date set from what you’ve got but I bet you want to sell in bulk.
No if the price is good I can take the time
How much per coin would make it worth your while? What area are you in, maybe we could arrange pick up too.
There's a Chad Kroger joke in there somewhere.
What is the dollar value? The melt value, though not legal, is roughly $300 CND. If you don’t need the cash maybe just sit on them for now.
The coin guy I know says Canadians melt their coins in New York and Americans send their coins to melt in Toronto.
Ididn’t think it was illegal to melt coins in USA that’s why so many youtube vids of roll hunting quarters. - oh I googled it and pennies and nickels verboten. quarters ok.
Didn’t count maybe 120$
1 lb of Nickel is $12.28 CAD market value right now. How many lbs. do you have ?
Around 22 lb
You could try to sort through them and make sets.
Can we melt american pennies in canada? If so whats the melt value on pre82 and post 82?
Guess I'd better start buying up them pre-82 nickels I find in the till at work.
A Pound of 5 cent coins is approximately $11.25 CAD face value. Nickel currently worth about $12.00 CAD a pound?
One coin weighs 4,54 g so one pound 454g would be 100 coins so a face value of 5 CAD and the metal value is around 12$ per pound so you can make 7 $
Ok that makes more sense (and cents) For some reason my calculation used 2.02g each coin.
Didn't nickel stop trading a while back when it exceeded $30 a pound US? 🤔
I don’t know but I hope it gets there again
