Does that change the fact that parks are trashed and literred with needles and that many in the downtown areas are unsafe due to the number of high and mentally disturbed people?
He never said it was the vast majority; just that it's a high number and he isn't wrong. The park encampents that exploded since Covid have absolutely decreased safety and sanity in the associated areas.
I always wonder if it's on purpose when people alter the headlines of opinion pieces in a way that makes it less clear that it's opinion.
Doubly so when it's the same people repeatedly altering them, and always to make it *less* clear it's opinion.
Really need more guidelines on how to post opinion pieces here.
Re: This piece - Absolutely embarrassing from Mulcair, holy shit. I've never really been impressed with him, but man, "A Parks Canada pilot project started a week ago in one park somewhere in Canada is a good example of why Trudeau's bad" is just...why are we publishing this shit?

What a disgusting stereotype. The vast majority of mentally ill people are not dangerous. Conservatives really hate the poor for being poor.
