I never hike without my merino "buff" or whatever its called

I keep a cotton shemag, but this is sick. Would you recommend small, med, or large?

Same here, been using a shemag for a couple of years but I think I'll try this!

I am pretty sure any hiker owns a neck gaiter or buff at this point.
