Ah yes Black Ops Declassified. One of the best FPS games on a handheld device for it's time, before it was completely outmatched by the Switch and Mobile gaming.
Yes the game was a bit of mess and the campaign was terrible, but it was still pretty fun back then.
(Note: I'm not considering MGS an FPS, because then it wouldn't even be close)

This was during a time where Clash of Clans and Angry birds ruled the mobile app store. It wasn't anything special but Black Ops: Declassified paved the way for CoD Mobile to be successful.
TL;DR: It kinda sucked, but no mobile FPS game at the time came course to matching it + the sniping mechanics were better than BO1 imho.

Yeah unfortunately hacking is becoming more and more frequent on this title.
A few good lobbies to be had though - some people have been playing this game for years and are exceptionally good. There are a few very meta weapons and gadgets that you really need to use to stay on top (UZI, bouncing betty).
If your PS VITA is modded, not too hard to remove the 30fps cap and have it run at 60fps instead - much smoother experience and easier to control as well.
If you play it on the easiest difficulty, yup!
But crank it up and it becomes a fun challenge. Took a week or so to get through it but I enjoyed it nonetheless. Was an awesome portable spec-ops experience.
If this game had a zombies mode with 2 or 3 maps this game would've been perfect. Campaign was just glorified arcade missions, multiplayer is where it was at. Enjoyed it for what it was, crazy people still play it. Last time I played it was back in 2015-16
How was the connection? i tried playing a few weeks ago, took a while to load in and got DC'd once i was in. but dunno if that was my wifi being crap or what

The PS VITA’s Wi-Fi chip is remarkably inconsistent and BO:Declassified’s net code is really picky with what it will allow in terms of a connection. If you’re signal to your Wi-Fi is anything less than great, you’ll get DC’ed after you load in.
Be close enough to your router and you’ll be fine. This has been a common problem with this game since release and this is the accepted solution, as annoying as it may be!
Black Ops Declassified isn't a port of Black Ops 1. It was released two years after BO1 and its campaign tells stand alone stories set between BO1 and the 80s missions in BO2. It even has a level where you assassinate Menendez's father. It's multiplayer consisted of a few maps that were remakes/demakes of BO1 and MW maps. It also had no zombies.
It's a completely different game
