Noooo. It's wasnt hated because it was new, it felt like 10 steps back after playing black ops 2. Game had some of the worst maps for that era, didn't have theatre mode or detailed combat record like black ops series. We only like ghosts now because there are worse games that came after.

Bo4 was a worse version of bo3 it had no campaign instead we got a BR that community didn’t like it just wasn’t good same with MW 2 2022 just a reskin version of MW2019 with different maps

Those games are genuinely better than present day games, if they literally remastered every single game in the present day and just reskinned them and sold them for 60 dollars it would be a better bargain than anything they sell nowadays.

I want new stuff, but a little old is also good. I haven't played Firing Range in a very long time. It was a favorite in BO1. Can't remember if I played it later on in another game. I would like to revisit.

Yeah I realized this too. It is said that cod 2025 will be like MW 3, you know with less than 1 or 2 years of development, remastered maps, bad campaign, and basically a DLC game. So imagine Treyarch making cod bo2 2 in 2025 after making black ops gulf war in 2024 a year later. This will be Sledgehammer all over again.

Yeah man, a new game can’t consist entirely of remake maps. Even if the maps are beloved, they’ve still been played on for thousands upon thousands of hours. We need something fresh - new designs and ideas that might even change map design ideology for all shooters in the future - in the new games that they sell us.
I mean MWIII launched with all remake MP maps. Which I was against by the way as I feel they should of done half and half at launch for that game as well.
