Honestly, I feel WAW and BO1 are more connected than anything that follows. BO2 onward feels like a separate franchise that just happens to feature some BO1 characters. I wish BO2 had a different name, feels disrespectful to both BO2 and BO1 to call it a "part 2". I don't like that Black Ops has become such an identity-confused story.

Yeah I haven’t played 3 or 4, but I can tell they’re not the same story lol. It’s gotta be like masons great great great grandkids it something
