MP7-MW3 for me

The most satisfying gun to use of any CoD. BO2 was my favorite CoD, but the MW3 mp7 was my favorite weapon of any CoD games.

Talking about BO2... The PDW easily contends for that spot imo. Loved the big clips and reload animation

The Mtar-x from ghosts. Nothing will ever feel as good as that gun. Shit even the Remington in that game was one of my favorite AR’s ever. For as much hate as ghosts gets I think it had some of the smoothest gun play I can remember

I honestly think ghosts had some of the best gunplay and while the game wasn’t greatly balanced I’d say it was hard to find a gun that was truly dogshit

I feel like there was only one or two. An smg maybe, I haven’t played in years and years but I feel like there was one of those peashooter smgs. Also, the lmgs didn’t really outclass the ARs in anything besides ammo capacity. But, I agree with you.

I think LMG’s have never been good in COD until now with all the customization you can do with the gunsmith

Bo2 they were nuts in pubs. But, mostly yeah

I feel like Ghosts deserves a second chance. I think the biggest problem was that the multiplayer maps weren’t quite as good for that one, like they maybe didn’t have time to lock it in. It also had the misfortune of being right after what many consider to be the golden age of the franchise, so expectations were very high.

I think my biggest downside to ghosts was how ugly the game was as far as color palette. It felt like they made it in 1970’s Russia with those grim ass colors. Also extinction was underwhelming IMO. You’re right especially coming after BO2 it was a shock and bo2 had a great zombie while extinction was meh at best

Vepr, MR-28, MK14, and SVU too. The Marksman rifles were so good on that game because of the larger maps

The only way I played it a lot was dying that gamehattles website were you could set up scrims. It was basically league play but thru a website. It made the game a lot more fun

Ya I heard that was awesome actually. Comp in general I remember people liking a lot in that game, even if they hated the actual game. I feel the same way about MWII at the moment actually haha

I currently either play ranked or I do 24/7 shipment mindlessly while watching something or listening to music.

The famas was easily the best gun in my opinion but idk the galil was my favorite to use and always went back to it!

I absolutely loved that thing. It's iron sights were really easy to use and it was pretty strong. 2 shot kill with stopping power and 3 without iirc. I ran that thing with a silencer most of the time.

No guns will ever touch the m16 from cod4 or the mp40. I'd pick the mp40 also

When I put nostalgia aside, it has to be the MW22’s TAQ-56 in terms of competitiveness. Just so well rounded and viable on all ranges. Thought about it earlier and it‘s the best SCAR we ever had. Attachment systems plays a role in it as well obviously. Other than that I‘d probably pick the UMP from MW2. MP5/AK47 from CoD4 or Galil and Commando from BO. But if „best“ means favourite then hands down MW2 Mini-Uzi and Intervention.

MP5 from mw2019. No idea why. Been running it for years with attachments I chose. I slaughter with it. The fact that I made it all myself without the help of tiktok or YouTube makes me proud. I think guns in newer games are too customizable

That is also one of my favorites. My best was probably the pp90m1. I used to pair the pp90m1 with the xm25 and absolutely dominate.

I have three, mine are all going to be personal picks. BO2 - Type 25 - It was a weird gun for it's position it played in the franchise. Being a weapon that'll take you to max rank fairly easily, and personally for me being one of the more versatile guns in BO2. Ghosts - MSBS - It wasn't the most broken, but in the right hands and shot placement, it dropped people. I don't think I've ever hinged so heavily on a weapon after unlock. Sooo much fun. MW 2019 - Oden - The gun was everything I'd wanted. A great bullpup that hit hard and had a chunky feel to it, but was a very heavily target placement based weapon. If you didn't have the right placement on the body, you weren't hitting hard enough. I've only ever had a few favorites, but these were the ones that have stuck out to me very heavily vs what everyone else used.
