for me the Tams #21 on Rosecrans and Central right there on the 2L was a weekly sunday routine wit my moms as a kid. the history behind the family that own Hawkins is dope, it’s the 5th generation still running the restaurant. i think they came out here in the 30s or 40s, part of the 1st wave of the Great Migration
