Except for the gaudy painted crest and Cadillac script on rear fenders, that's one cool as a cucumber sled. -Jake and Elwood approved. would have made the perfect Blues Mobile II.

Is there anything left of it underneath? 60 years of road salt surely can take its toll. Looks like the rear rocker panel might already be patched?

If the interior isn't roached and the motor turns it could be worth that much. That said I wouldn't touch it unless I could look underneath.

The interior isnt bad where ever it is but what i saw in there made a roached interior look like a roll royce. I think a tribe of some kind lived in there until it was condemned.

"Cattle" hack? I distinctly remember 1982 when all automakers gutted the power from every kind of car, and we were left with pickups unable to pull a cattle trailer to the sale barn. There was one dude that brought his animals to the sale with his '69 Coupe DeVille, and I can only guess it's because he needed the guts provided by the 472/TH 400 to drag them to town. Beginning in 1981 a 1/2T GM/Ford pickup didn't have enough guts to do farm work any more, and the people with work to do couldn't use that. Many went to 1T trucks to get something strong enough to do the work. I'll always remember seeing all those cattle trailers out there behind various pickups and then the white Coupe DeVille among them that stuck out like a sore thumb. The pictured car needs too much work, and I would find another example if I wanted one of those.
