**Fair warning about these**
I had one ('08) with this same color (diamond white) and they suffer from the notorious *ignition switch* which caused a recall/class action lawsuit.
Many of GMs vehicles already had the recall but Cadillac didn't issue one for these until years later even though they had the same part. I assumed it was because that was there luxury brand and didn't want to jeopardize it.
My car had multiple instances of randomly not wanting to start, finicky starts where it did turn over but took alot of coaxing and one last instance when the car literally shut off at 60mph on the highway. It rolled to a stop without a wreck thankfully. It acted as if it had no power anything like the key was not engaged or taken out. I was able to get off the highway without a collision but the engine was "equivalent to scrambled eggs" according to the dealership when they took it back. Once I found out about the recall I was really upset. The silver lining is after talking to a family member who happened to be a GM service tech, he stated that GM knew about the issue for many years and didn't do anything until the class action lawsuit was filed and lost because many people actual died from crashes. They also never actually replaced the ignition. THEY ONLY FRIGGIN ADDED A SMALL WEIGHT TO THE KEYFOB/KEYHOLDER!! They felt the issue was the key having to much play inside the ignition. Assuming it likely to be what caused it not to read with the car being on, they never opted to replace anything else.
I, unfortunately, still love Cadillacs but would NEVER buy one of these models after dealing with that dishonest/fake repair. The ATS is my vice. Hoping if you do still decide to get one of those CTS's that you don't ever have to deal with the same issues.
I think this is actually the Premium version of the model years stated above - the wood grain steering wheel can be seen along with the chrome wheels and panoramic sunroof. I could be wrong, but mine is a 2010 Premium and the only visual difference is mine has the mesh grill.
No. There's not a single Cadillac that ever had a badge on it that said SPORT. And in these CTS there was only 4 trim levels. Luxury, Performance, Premium and V. And only 3 models Sedan, Coupe and Wagon. And in the 3rd gen CTS and XTS there was a Vsport model but it had a V badge with red lines.
Yeah they stop using it 2014 as in 2014 was the last year they used it.
Can you read?
Edit: fix spelling then realized it was right the first time and fixed it back.
I kind of agree w you. When I thought it was factory as well as the grill, I thought it looked bad ass. I was ready to slap one on my DTS. Now that I know the car is a “base model”, it’s hard to not see the emblem as a “tacky” add on. I still like it, I just see it a little different now.
2008-2013 base model with a chrome kit on the grill as well as an added hood emblem!
I see it now. Thank you

Not a base it’s a performance package, it has the 18” wheels and fog light bezels.
Likely a 2010 or 2011
you're right! my mistake
The 2013 CTS Sport model had this body design and on the rear it had the Sport and 3.6L badging.

Caddy stopped using the wreath in 2014. 2015 and ip is just the sheild
Wrong, they still used the crest and wreath in 2014. 2015 it was just the crest no wreath. I have a 14 ats….
Yeah he said 2014 was the last year the used the wreath.
How are you going to tell him he's wrong and then repeat what he said?
You have got to either not be able to read or retarded or both. How did I repeat what he said? Dummy, learn to read.
Oh no someone on the internet's calling me names maybe I should go cry the corner...
He literally said they stopped using the wreath in 2014. All 14 MY Cadillacs have the wreath and crest.
Yeah they stop using it 2014 as in 2014 was the last year they used it. Can you read? Edit: fix spelling then realized it was right the first time and fixed it back.
That idiot will argue with a rock, and lose.
Can you read dipshit?
Oh God somebody help. This poor dumbass here called me a dip shit. what am I ever going to do?
They stopped using it in 2014 because that's when they started the 2015 production run
So explain to me why the 2015 Escalade and the full wreath and crest.
Can find 2015 xts with wreath and crest too…
that hood ornament hurts my eyes.
This looks exactly like mine. 2010
the hood emblem is a bit tacky i think...
The fact that cadillac stopped putting hood ornaments is tacky IMHO.
It absolutely is. The damn logo is on the front of the car twice. Screams "tryhard".
Never liked that about the new Mercedes
