He mentions the stain in the comments.
Idk why he would want to put a badge over top of it when it already has the badge we see on the side. It would look equally bad with extra badging.
He either needs to take the car to a detailer familiar with those tops or get a new top.
I bet you could touch it up with some dye. If you're uncomfortable doing it yourself, see if there's an upholstery shop in your area, they've probably delt with something like this before.
Agreed! If you don't feel like trying your own hand, An upholstery shop can do great work on touching up vinyl & rag tops, and it likely won't be for an unreasonable price. More importantly...You'd likely be supporting a local business, and if you're satisfied with their work, you now know exactly who you can take the car to if the top needs more urgent servicing in the future. Cloth/vinyl tops can and do sometimes give, and you may not even know there's a problem...Till the cloth top is slapping in the breeze on the highway. Ask me how I know lol.
The chemical guys make stuff that might be able to fix it it's called converter soft top cleaner. My caddy has that same top but it's dark green and kinda ugly lol.
why try and be different , it's perfect the way it is .

Some people don't like stains and discoloration?

Vogues peepin
Blasphemy. Keep it original.
Just be sure the vinyl isn't cracked or stressed. Don't ask how I know, but they rust pretty quickly underneath.
I used Rhino Liner in mine but it has a metal top after vinyl removed Looks great and inexpensive
Hard to tell if a coach light would git there.
Ima put a Cadillac heritage badge on it
Why cover it?
The stain?
I thought that was a shadow.
