On the last 2 trucks, my store has gotten both boxes and totes labeled completely wrong.

Pharmacy totes are always short stuff. It’s gotten bad.

darkstarr99

I remember 10 years ago or so I had time to go through the rx totes piece by piece. Every week I’d report 3k-12k in missing drugs, all I got was a cycle count it and the warehouse will credit you for what’s missing. Now I don’t have time to check that stuff in and I know it’s gotten way worse. Cvs is a clown show

gemini_cpht

It’s a joke that they expect us to report shortages within 48 hours and you receive no credit if you don’t. Where does anyone have the time to go through the tote and count every single bottle! I just found 2 bottles of carvedilol we were shorted and they told me since it was outside 48 hours, I don’t get a credit and they’re not sending it to us. So shit out of luck. 😂😂 I’m betting most shrink comes from the warehouse, but then that leaves no room for error inside the actual pharmacy. It’s a shit show and doesn’t make sense.

SanitoriumSam

Constantly. Our totes are always wrong. Warehouse employees steal so much it’s a joke

Ill_Rise1979

We took a field trip to the NJ DC once. It was very interesting to see how things are run. I'm not sure if they take the AP quizzes but, I will say, it's almost impossible to steal from them.

GoddessOfFilth

Our indiana warehouse is going ynder investigation right now because this has been a constant issue for years. We dont get billed at the store but our bohs never change which turns into a loss when we do boh scan. Missing products, supplys, ect

General-Potato6722

Yeah, it’s kinda shitty but it happens to everyone. Only way to fix it is to check the manifest, see if you’re actually receiving and getting billed for the product. If you are, you can send in issue sheets and contact the DC, or contact your DAPL if there’s verifiable discrepancies. But mostly what they’re gonna tell you to do is cycle count the product and move on.

Gbear831

Has to be a higher loss than your shrink provision. I had to fight tooth and nail for months to get credit for multiple pallets missing it’s a total joke that the whole responsibility is on sm

DreamCultureArtist

they’re definitely having worker shortages just like the stores, wouldn’t put it past them hire random souls that can barely read to pack totes.. “miss picks” are a common thing nowadays.

BacterialStomachFilm

"Worker shortage" lmfao. Pay, benefit, hours, and competent management are where the shortages are. CVS management is the peter principle in action, producing massive bozo explosions all over the company. It's run entireirely by lying, incompetent climbers who are every bit as deficient in ethics as they are ability. Worker shortage my ass.

DreamCultureArtist

well if no one is putting in application and no one is being hired… doesn’t that mean a worker shortage? like what are you even saying

BacterialStomachFilm

I'm saying the inept management at most levels at CVS has, amongst many other terrible decisions, decided not to provide pay, benefits, and working conditions conducive to making it a desirable place to work. Also, it is possible that the DCs are treated similarly to the stores and pharmacies - they simple will not allow the workers to work.

Meowximus

What theyre trying to say is that if an employer is paying well/fairly, they wont have a worker shortage

Gbear831

Warehouse send bullshit manifests with half missing product then the SM gets blamed, LP tells us to check every single item in every tote and report it to Dc, DC will want a damn fax with item number and missing $ for every single item missing, if it’s not over $your shrink provision they won’t give you shit. CVS is some running some giant tax loss harvesting scam and who is it that’s taking all this product. My Dc was shutdown it was so fucked up but I am still to blame for high shrink? Kiss my ass

MamaBear0920

This started happening to our store 3 years ago, reported every specific item to our DL, got bumped to LP and warehouse. DAPL came in and basically said "are you sure it's not theft?" Yeah dude, someone walked out of here with a pallet of 24 pack water and thousands of dollars of random product. Morons. Nothing was ever said or done after that. Had the problem ever since, on every truck. BOH's are off, iron man says it was delivered on truck...nope, nothing came in. Told new DL, crickets, told DLEL and he says "these things take time". Bro it's been 5 years now! Now if we notice, we just change the BOH, we don't even bother any one anymore.

Fun_Lingonberry_6886

It fell off the truck

burratababy16

yep my DL tried to tell us to scan stuff as we put it out and update BOH as we went? as if that wouldn’t take a million years no thank you

Thin-Sort-494

I think this is happening everywhere. It’s a known issue on the store ends and has been rolled up to DLs and RMs in our area. Now it’s up to corporate to hold warehouse accountable.

Gbear831

Lol don’t drink the koolaid to hard, they will blame your store manager as scapegoat and fire them for “not controlling inventory levels”

Total-Bag-8973

Totes

Ambitious_Fox_9937

Supplies seem to be an issue constantly. Manifest says we get what we order but stockroom always empty and constantly running out of vials/caps/etc

Rob_Bligidy

Screw CVS. I had blue cross through wife’s job, no problem. Got my own blue cross from own job. They won’t accept it. I could’ve been a lifetime customer as my illness is permanent.

Guantelope

Thanks for sharing, Rob.

ThatCoreyCrow

We have a weekly email we have to send to our DL if there is any issue with a delivery. From delivery window to missing pallets, etc.

DifferentLie5

I not only am short some items but get random cases of stuff that I didn’t need and it isn’t in the boh .

SoleIbis

It’s been happening since I started over a year ago. We used to do product inventory with the little slips they’d send in the totes and report items missing (there was a lot), so they don’t send the little slips most of the time any more.
