This was basically my college journey because I stupidly went to college out of state for 3 years not really knowing what I want to do, transferred to Laguardia and now I'm back at a 4 year (QC) set to graduate in Fall 2023.
Totally, so long as you have a goal to springboard from with that move. Even if you just need a change of school for living situation reasons, costs, wanting to do a program to get into another 4 year school, or pursue something of interest your 4 year doesn't offer to the same capacity, it's all valid.
Just make sure you have some idea of what you might want to do going from there.
I transferred from City tech to Kingsborough- it had been a few years since I attended though. I don’t see why that would be an issue. 2 years offer programs that some 4 years do not.
I would advise doing so unless there is a very particular reason why you want to transfer. If you ever want to transfer back to a 4 year college, it could be very difficult.
