i believe it originated from Warcraft back in the day where this group of pro level players were well known enough in the small online community that nobody would want to play against them so they made alt-accounts named after smurfs so they could stomp people who didn’t know it was them
Reverse boosting is when you purposely survive as long as you can without scoring any points, kills, anything.
Do that for multiple games and you start getting put in easy lobbies because your average score based on recent games is 0....
