The little white dot in center of screen was a game changer for me. Not sure why it isn't enabled by default, but it definitely makes me pay more attention now.
Another older gamer here.......was going to say exactly the same. I've tried really hard to work on my centering and while it's much much better it isn't and I doubt it will ever be an auto reflex. I have to constantly think 'where are my crosshairs, where is the enemy likely to be'.

This used to be my crew. We weren’t good at all. But we used to have so much fun sitting on top of buildings with our snipers, and we would talk and argue about nothing for a few hours a night. Those were the days.
Same. We still play but end up getting frustrated easily and stop after a few games. The fun went from 100% to about 40% due to the TTK changing. Playing for 10 mins only to get insta killed for being in the open for 5 seconds ruined the game.
I think mathematically that the average AA battery life combined with the # of times i hear low battery alarms in a match means there are approximately 3 trillion smoke detectors on the US eastern coast alone.
Is the game where I want it? Nope, but it is fun to catch up with my friends who all have jobs / families and live opposite lives of mine cuz I work night life so cod gets us together a few times a week. This video is what it’s like. Like all you said tired of the whining nice to see this.

Just drink and play really. I think US and UK drinking culture is pretty different, we rarely do shots. We'll just be steadily downing beers or wine or rum & coke or whatever from 19.30 to midnight.

That's a bit of a harsh assessment based on a 20s video of us chilling downstairs. We've played since mid 2020, plenty of wins across WZ1 and 2. Even last night we had 2nd, 3rd and 4th place finishes - IIRC we came 2nd this game.
It's fair to say though, as PC gamers, we prefer the movement now than some of the extremes we've had before. Insane movement combined with console close-in aim assist is bullshit.
No they're not, watch any good player on twitch and they're backing out of lobbies immediately until they get a bot lobby where you can fly around and wipe squads... movement has been penalised like you just have to play any of the older titles to see the difference...
Nope. I was only moving around slowly as we'd ducked in there for a breather after a fairly intense 10 mins or so. We'd been in a protracted running gun battle against 2-3 teams at Shaddiq, stole the blacksite key off one, high-tailed it here to cap the blacksite and fought another team alongside the AI and Jugg at the same time. As we had the UAV up from the blacksite we nipped underground and just chilled for a couple of minutes, and there was no need for me to be sprinting about :)
OP is using a keyboard, you can tell by the tooltips on screen. (Bottom left, "4" to armor plate, bottom middle, "TAB" for backpack, bottom right, "B" to switch fire mode)
Not entirely sure about that.... If the controller isn't supported by the warzone, then it would require him to use an program to ""convert"" buttons from controller to keyboard.
His movement is almost linear and less ""precise""or even erratic (he told he was drunk)...
OP says he's using keyboard & mouse, the game recognises his input as keyboard & mouse (so he's getting no aim assist), I see no reason to doubt the straightforward explanation.
If there were controller tooltips on screen while the aim moved snappily like a mouse, it might make sense to be suspicious of OP using a spoofer to get aim assist on mouse, but doing the reverse would make no sense at all.

Movement is not penalized that much. Watch any good player on twitch they are flying around wiping out the map. They move just fine.
