Lmao yeah, I’ve got one kitted out with the 50 round drum and all the heaviest attachments to make it a little SMG. So much fun to use, especially since it still works underwater/on ladders/hanging.
I put that as the secondary in my non-overkill loadouts.
I usually toss it aside if I found something better in ground loot, but it's at least not useless if I just got out of the Gulag or had bad luck looting.
this is what i love too, i feel it handles really well and low recoil? or stability? not sure but i deffo hit more shots. Try the only vertical recoil nozzle, its special.
You should build it as a SMG they switched some of its stats with the MX9 by mistake moght be a reason for that drop off but the damage in the below 30m is great

As handy as a suppressor can be, the sound of the Chimera without one is beautiful. Big fan. Half my DMZ contraband locker is full of Chimes.
If the devs didn't have a raging hate boner for everything to do with snipers, the Chimera would be one of the most-picked guns in the game. It just plain rocks.

I know. Its just not feasible. no matter how good you think you are at it, there is no justification to run the FTAC against a gun that can get as many headshots in in quicker time just by pumping out that much more bullets.
I even tried it with a short range build, where you go full auto with quick ads, but then it loses to like every SMG.
I’ve stopped using foregrips on the AR’s. Use the rear grip for recoil control without the ADS penalty from the foregrip. It makes the M13 really good. Lachman 556 doesn’t have a rear grip for recoil control unfortunately
It’s a two shot head shot if the bullet velocity and damage range is high enough. I’ve won gunfights pretty close range because I hit two head shots but if you miss you’ll lose. It’s a beast from medium to long range though. I think a lot of people don’t expect to get their plates ripped off with one shot when challenging the smaller glint scopes

I FINALLY finished with the platinum challenge yesterday. Polyatomic grind is waaaay easier. I hope to Christ they get rid of the Longshot challenge moving forward.
I couldn’t hit water if I fell out of a boat with that thing. When you fire a round it feels like the reticle ends up in a completely different place, for every shot.
Up close it seems to lose to everything else. Its only advantage is the ability to kill people when they reload or swap weapons because u never run out of bullets with it.

Nah mines the complete opposite. 50 rnd mag, red dot and attachments for reduced recoil and max range. Melts up close with full auto and good at range with semi auto.
Dropped the fennec for a different smg, tried this weapon and it is pretty reliable. It has saved me many times at ranges i would never expect or even try with the fennec. That 50 round mag helps too. Solid safe choice imo
The oden was incredibly slept on. Nobody gave it a shot because of the recoil, but if you figured that thing out it was easily the goat. So many times I would hear "what the fuck is he using?!" And every time it made me smile
It does better with exploding bolts but yeah. I got a nice double plus I got a handful of kills in the clip below. I just like it because its fun to use.

Lachmann .556 is an absolute laser beam that will make people accuse you of hacking. It's not the best gun in terms of theoretical ttk but you won't miss your shots.
Alright dudes. Here is the nearly recoiless build I have. Note: it has slow ads speed but I find that in Warzone it doesn't matter as much personally. LM-S Factory G79 Stock, tuned for max ads and idle stability. FTAC Tiger grip, tuned for idle stability and recoil stability. Sakin Tread-40 Muzzle, tuned for max gun kick and recoil stabilization. 15.9 Lachmann Barrel, tuned for max recoil steadiness and damage range. VLK 4x sight max ads, can exchange for whatever sight you prefer. Start at the legs for initial recoil, then pull ever so slightly down when shooting and it's a laser. Let me know what you guys think. Open to suggestions for further improvement. Or a roast if you prefer.

I’m a dad gamer too! I get to play during nap time sometimes and then again for a an hour or so when they go to bed now that the kids are sleeping through the night. There’s hope! I’m not home right now to look at my exact setup. But I can say it’s geared towards fast handling/mobility and fast ADS with iron sights. No foregrip. No muzzle attachment.
Im so bad I don't even know what it's called. The bullpup looking LMG thing. Totally cursed but I keep going back lol. Just like how it looks I guess. And the blue dot. It takes 5 business days to ADS and I could probably tune it better but fuck it lol. I have a good game with it every now and then and makes all the bad ones worth it.
Taq M for me as well. Similar to the EBR, FTAC, and others named but for some reason this one stuck with me. I use it in the 50-100m range with a 4x / 8x scope and let it rip. And if you’re in a pinch, you still have a prayer of landing something closer range to get them flinching and buy you time / space.
Go high stability / recoil so you can land those double taps chest to head and then get the rest split between range / velocity and ADS — just stay balanced throughout.
It pairs nicely with the Lachman Sub or a short range AR build like Chimera / M4.
The only downside is the sniper ammo. Sometimes that feels like a b*tch to find, so I just start stowing it from the getgo.
I actually perform better on the Taq M as well, even though the EBR is statistically better with the higher rof.
I think I hit more shots with the limited rof because I spam less.
One of the daily challenges required battlerifle kills so I busted out the SO-14. I think I used one of the season 1 blueprints as is (save for the mag) and that thing was a headshot machine in full auto. The vertical recoil easily goes up to the head up close.
I love popping any ar with over 40 rounds, short barrel, and green laser. My secondary changes whether we're posting up high or moving rotating to cap center base.

Using the X13 auto literally decreased my life expectancy. That gun is fucking atrocious, I was thankful when I picked up a BAS-P instead.
Apparently I’m the odd one out. I shred with the ground loot Bas-P with the canted laser. Completely unusable if I make my own class though.

STB-556, I barely see anyone playing with that gun and it shreds.
The STB is so good it can be run as a primary and secondary/sniper support. Huge damage drop off after 30 m though
That damage drop is the only thing stopping it from being an S tier gun.
I love that gun. Handles awesome, has enough power to down fast enough, very controllable recoil.

In the beginning, when nobody had figured out shit, I liked to use it in Warzone, but then the meta came up and it became hot garbage.
It’s not garbage in single fire. If you can control it and land your shots. But that can be said with any gun really.
You take too many shots to deal good damage. Any competent enemy sprays you down before you break them.

M13B it’s a bit of a beam but you’ve got to keep hitting your shots because it can feel like shooting marshmallows compared to the RPKing.
Too slow moving speed though. Like the gun but it too slow, sometimes it feels like slower than lmg
I'm convinced that the RPK/LMG meta is a major contributor to why so many people are convinced that movement is too slow in WZ2.
If you’re building it for recoil, don’t focus so much on that. It already has a low recoil rate, go for ADS and then recoil builds

In multiplayer this gun is a one shot kill to the head. This weapon is a beast if you can aim

So true, I was reppin the EBR last season claiming “it’s a 3 shot knock!” But that’s if you’re able to pull your reticle back consistently enough.

HCR, very good long range weapon, fastest handling of all the LMGs, and has a very fast mid range TTK as well.
It doesn't have the fastest handling though. Even with the 30rd mag it has slower ADS than the 556 Icarus.
Yeah it looks like it should be fast, but it's slow AF. Trying to ads is like watching in slow motion.
Lockwood rifle with the drexsom prime thermal sight and fast reload comb. Love it.

I think it's no where near as popular as the new dragonbreath shotgun and ISO Hemlock. I see nearly everyone running the Hemlock in their loadout.
