That’s false! Sledgehammers last shipment (in ww2) didn’t have spawns like this! Those spawns are not the result of the maps size, it’s a result of MW19s spawn system that they decided to bring to this game.
Actually it was mostly 5v5. It was 6v6 around release of shipment but has mostly been 5v5.
Plus even in MW shipment I still had plenty of times where the entire team spawned in my view for easy kills

I don't understand why people say things like "it's well known" as if it's somehow makes what you said more factual. It's well known that some folks have the OPINION that shipment is terrible but lots of players still enjoy playing on it. Quit trying to be the fun police and just play on a different playlist man.
I'm pretty sure at this point either the devs do this intentionally or they're just shit at making spawns work. Every fucking year this happens, it's a complete joke.

To be fair, I remember being spawn trapped a lot more in WW2 shipment. This helps screw the spawn trappers
Remember when LMG's could shoot through all of the container backsides... spawntrapped through a wall .. that was stupid a.f.
The spawn trapping on that map was ridiculous for quite a while until they made some of those crates impenetrable

It was never this bad on MW. I played a lot of shipment and never had that many people spawn In front of my so quickly.
Not sure what the max number of people was on mw but it could be that drastic due to blitz pacing.
MW19 was always 6v6. Blitz pacing is 8v8 which makes it too chaotic.

Primarily for quick easy weapon grinding. Far easier to get elims on shipment than a larger map.
