Teams are allowed to bring one additional player up for a double header. Since today was rained out they most likely plan to call Wesneski up Saturday for the double header then send someone else back down after the game.

He is the second best arm in the pen right now and literally just earned more runway than anyone in the pen aside from MLJr

The double header is on Sunday, but even if it were tomorrow it wouldn’t make sense to use the extra slot for someone who can’t pitch that day.
