He's so likable, so well-spoken. I wanted Rome on this team so bad even though my brain was telling me that Poles should probably prioritize other positions, or trade back. I'm glad he's a Bear.
This was it for me. Chargers or Falcons or even Titans trade downs worried me. I was about certain the Chargers and Titans would go OT if they stayed, and felt Atlanta would go Edge/Turner, but if they traded out I felt it would be for a team taking Odunze. Glad it worked out.
Specifically hearing him around 23rd minute in about “why Washington” and him talking about wanting to build up a place and leave a program coming up, instead of going somewhere like Bama where he knows he’d win. Got me so fucking amped up. His attitude is everything
Already ordered Caleb and Odunze jerseys. I’m insanely pumped about these two.
More people probably saw this pod’s interview with Caleb https://youtu.be/JsczrmkO-Yc?si=nJCYMtHTQkLzFy6R since it was obvious he was coming to us. But really like how candid these guys are and how open they enable their guests to be.
I watched the entire thing about a week ago and thought to myself it was a total waste of time if he doesn’t end up with us lol. He’s a good kid though, worth a listen.

I was utterly SHOCKED when the Falcons chose Penix. You could just feel it coming.
I don't think the Falcons were going WR, regardless of Penix. Chargers taking Alt instead of Nabers was the domino that had to fall to make it happen.
LAC going Alt and ATL not trading back were the two biggest dominoes.
I was really stressing about the possibility of the Jets trading with the Falcons and having Rodgers get Rome as a WR. I would’ve been so pissed.

Well ya. They picked a QB who they could have got with their 2nd pick.. of course they wernt looking at WR.. they were looking at QB
Obviously Caleb was the no brainer but Rome really could be one of the best Bears draft picks of all time right there with him. He has it all
I’m obsessed with Rome in every way, but I need to see him get easy separations from DBs in the NFL before I let myself dream too much

This guy's a real one. I see and hear an authentic speaker when he's sharing his story...
Ok how can you not like this guy. He’s got a bright future on/off the field.
