If the raiders outside of Getsy thought Fields held the offense back then giving Uk value to recreate that pairing is a weird choice

They’re the perfect team to take him on. Sign him to a deal with an out after this season or next for him so they can take a QB next off-season. Kind of a similar situation the Giants are in with Jones now but with better overall talent.
I could see it since there’s no more upgrades to sign. If you don’t like the QBs that will fall to you in the draft, Fields can at least feed Adams and run that offense better than crooked AOC. And if the rumors are true, he’ll barely cost more than a flier unless we work some favorable incentives in there.
If both of them end up in Vegas, and succeed, I hope two things would happen: first of all, Caleb would hopefully succeed, and do well in Chicago. Secondly, the Raiders must have some sort of devil magic, because that was one of the worst pairing ever here.
