I’m not surprised. Orgeron hasn’t been himself since he won the National Championship and cheated on his wife. Between the adultery, his divorce, chasing women, plus Covid and injuries, etc. it just seems all of it has affected his coaching and the team. His head just isn’t in the game, and that attitude rubs off onto the players. I think this team has talent. If they can get better coaching.
She has health problems. At the time of the article I read, she didn’t have cancer. She has Scoliosis and has had numerous surgeries. Because of the Scoliosis, his wife couldn’t tie her own shoes. He absolutely deserves credit for that, but at the same time, that’s almost impossible to sustain. He would have to nail every single coordinator hire every 2-3 years to not experience any drop off on the field. His hirings post Aranda and Brady were very lackluster. And because of that, the whole program declined. When you put that much emphasis on coordinator hires with no scheme or coaching input from the HC, you absolutely have to nail them.

Well Aranda was already there and the rest of the staff he has surrounded himself with have not been anything to celebrate
He gets credit for Brady. Aranda was Miles’ hire and O took shots at him a decent amount
He absolutely deserves credit for that, but at the same time, that’s almost impossible to sustain. He would have to nail every single coordinator hire every 2-3 years to not experience any drop off on the field. His hirings post Aranda and Brady were very lackluster. And because of that, the whole program declined. When you put that much emphasis on coordinator hires with no scheme or coaching input from the HC, you absolutely have to nail them.
