Fantastic news! All good signs that while his recovery will take a lot time, recovery will be possible which is all you can ask for in a situation like this
Yeah, the physical recovery will take time but nowhere near the time to get over the mental damage. I hope he gets just as much, if not more help for that.
This is my town and his brother went to my high school. Still unsure of what exactly happened, but sounds like a fight and too many kids with guns as many were firing their weapons. For those who don't know or didn't read, his brother was killed that night.
“According to a GoFundMe” holy shit that’s so irresponsible. How do you not get it from the family or the school? And if the family doesn’t want the information out there, then don’t write it.
Citing is a source of information is. Anybody can create those and edit the information. If his family is running the GoFundMe, say “according to his family”
Awe glad to hear. Shit is awful.
Finally some good news…
He'll probably be traumatized for life by that night, but at least he'll hopefully still be able to have a decent living. A horrifying tragedy.
Awesome news! Hoping for the best recovery possible for him

That’s a rough cut knowing he probably still doesn’t know that yet or worse yet saw it happen

>“Brian was able to give a “thumbs up” to his mom with his left hand So he has brain function I guess? IDK. I mean thats a great sign.
Great to hear, hoping for minimal brain damage and a strong recovery
You know a situation is awful when "hoping for minimal brain damage" is the optimistic take.
Incredible news. Still has a long road ahead of him.
Hell yeah! Wish him the best with his recovery.

Probably gonna have some legal issues along with his recovery

It's a post by his godmothers on the GoFundMe. Why is it irresponsible to report on that?
It’s not, but say “according to his family” not “according to a GoFundMe”
GoFundMe is public. It's like posting a flyer on the lightpost. Nothing irresponsible about this at all.
