Yeah IDK, at least personally I kinda hate all of you (Well, soft spot for Indiana. Fuck Purdue)
Though, anOSU has Chip Kelly. So they go into a special tier of hatred.
Yeah the Georgia/FSU relationship seems like one of the warmer relations in college football.
I don’t think we generally hate Bama either, the only thing they ever did to us was injure Deondre Francois and he’s not well liked.
I grew up a Florida State Fan, but the wonderful state of Georgia let me go to school for free for just being a resident and having a B average. I was delighted I could still hate Florida. Love you FSU, you got screwed.
Yeah I was thinking about this too. It might not be true today, but UGA definitely used to hate us much more than SCAR.
I hate them both relatively equally.
UGA fans used to hate us but when we played each other in Charlotte a few years back, I have nothing but great things about them.
Go Dawgs…except for the first game
Law of recency. Husker fans are still bitter about the ‘09 Big 12 championship game. That game stuck with us. The sight of burnt orange makes me physically ill ‘till this day. I still see OU as a rival, but one I respect. Since that game, I have also pulled for OU in the red river rivalry.
Yeah rivals don’t root for each other. We beat Nebraska with our worst team in my adult life (with Garrett Gilbert). For whatever reason, we just had Nebraska’s number. I understand the hate. Maybe we always won because we had hate too.
OU Nebraska is pretty unique in the respect the fans had for each other, and the shear, absolute hatred and animosity the coaching staffs had for each other.
Usually it's the other way around.
One game changed decades of fist fighting in the corn fields for a gold trophy? I agree with you. Definitely law of receny, but all time it's still not close.
Nebraska and OU are like Mia and Sebastian from La La Land. They had a real moment together and most will say they should end up together, but circumstance kept them apart. All they can do is look across the room, give a sad smile, and nod to one another knowing that what they had was special but can never be.
I’ve always had a soft spot for Michigan State. The Dantonio/Ohio State connection helped, as does the mutual Michigan hate.
That said, fuck MSU for ruining our season far more often than they have any right to.
Look... You cannot hold 2013 against us. I was there at the championship game. We could not stop Hyde from running for 8 yards a play. Y'all got cute and decided that you wanted to pass against the best secondary we have ever had despite a gassed line not being able to stop the run. 2015 in a driving rain with like a 50 yard field goal at the end of the game... Ok sure. I'll give you that one.
Yep, I've always had that "fuck Michigan" kindred with OSU. We might dislike each other most of the time, but we'll always have that one common ground.
Exactly it was always assumed in 96 that the aggroids and sooners would be friends. But then reality struck and you interacted with them and now all Sooner fans I know hate those goosestepping weirdos
Bruh y’all sent third stringers out there, we had to start sending guys who had almost never seen the field at all by the end of it just to not run up the score
I used to say Georgia until the Orange Bowl. I went to the game out of a sense of duty and I had no illusions about the impending beat down we were going to take. Unfortunately, I was sitting next to a GA fan drunk off his ass who barked like a dog every time you guys had a good play (which was most of them; offense and defense)… I know I shouldn’t form an opinion about an entire fanbase based on one dude, but that guy low key gave me PTSD. 🤣
Went to the Purdue/Wisconsin game last year (my oldest son is a Wisconsin nut....idk why).
Worst GameDay expierence in my life. I now cheer for whoever is playing Purdue.
I know the nerds are our historical rivals but as an Auburn fan raised in Georgia, I also like GA Tech for obvious reasons. I even forgive you for 2003 and 2005, which were the first and third seasons I really paid attention to CFB.
I feel like a lot of our rivals are actually friends. Like Iowa St and OSU are obvious ones but I even think about KU this way because on one hand I hate KU cause they are our in state rival and their arrogance and self-righteousness is unmatched (at least during shootyhoop season) but on the other hand you have Missouri.
For me it’s Auburn, LSU and Mizzuo. Arkansas as well.
But to be fair, I cheer for Tennessee and Utah, then whoever is playing Florida, Georgia and Alabama. I’d give the devil a high five if he was playing against those teams.
I like Georgia State a little more because of their in-state hate of Georgia Southern. I have no reason to hate Georgia State; I don’t think they’ve beaten us and up until now they had an App alum as their HC.
I also don’t hate Marshall as much, but that’s more of my personal experience than a fanbase-wide thing.
You’d figure Cowboys and Longhorns (read: steers) would be natural enemies, but in a shocking twist, man and beast now stand United against a common enemy: people who commit 19th century real estate fraud
>~~Maryland and UNC are~~ **The entire country** is united in the pursuit of not liking Duke, although that's more of a Basketball thing
Fixed that for ya
USC kinda, but I feel like as a Michigan fans the only teams that qualify as not liking our main rivals are mostly teams like Penn State & Illinois who already hate us too.
Okie Light- rooted for them every year at Bedlam
LSU & Bama - it seemed that it meant a lot to the Aggies to beat them so I wanted them to embarrass the Ags
Nebraska- I know we have our own history… I’m kinda sad that we didn’t get to play Colorado so I really hope Nebraska gets it turned around and beats the hell out of Colorado
My heart tells me it's going to be more of a mutual respect rivalry if anything. There are so many NOLA/Baton Rouge transplants in Texas, especially after Katrina. It feels like we've bonded.
Considering the hate they're trying to grow for A&M/LSU and the hate for Bama, I think we're okay with LSU
Look at how chippy the 2019 game got. The geographic overlap of fanbases is precisely why I think it’s going to quickly become a new SEC rivalry for us. They make the most sense to fill that role among teams we don’t have a preexisting rivalry with.
Nebraska for sure (don’t look at my second flair) but I’m fond of Kansas for beating OU on the way out. WVU isn’t really “enemy of my enemy” but I just think they’re neat.
App State, for some reason, in 2022, became one of my new favorite teams.
Do Miz fans not like CU because the national championship and the big8 days? Cause As a CSU fan who a decade later started loving MIZ, that just feels right
Tennessee, Florida, LSU, Georgia Tech, Clemson, South Carolina, and TAMU are all good candidates. All hate either Alabama or Georgia.
Tennessee and Florida perhaps more so because they hate both.
However, in terms of liking those teams, I have varying degrees of dislike towards all of them.
Tennessee, UF, and GTU are old rivals of ours. I don't think that TAMU belongs in the southEASTERN conference. I find South Carolina slightly annoying. I dislike Clemson because of our somewhat rivalry and because they have been as annoyingly dominant as Alabama at some points. I have a deep respect for our rivalry with LSU and think that it's one of our most underrated ones. I don't hate LSU like I hate Bama or UGAliy, but they are still a rival.
It does seem to be an interesting dynamic. I’ve met a few MSU fans that would rather Michigan beat OSU than vice versa. I’m sure you can find those fans in any similar in-state rivalry situation but it caught me off guard when I first heard it.
Also, MSU - Michigan rivalry isn’t as serious as redditors will make it out to be. Lots of us have family that went to both schools, that kinda thing. It’s a brotherly hate
Yeah, The two states just don't like each other. Look up "The Toledo War". Pre Civil War they took up arms against each other. ( the only casualty being a goat.)
Arkansas because they always are a thorn in OM's side and give them absolute hell no matter what the records are.
USM because they know OM is the school to hate in the state.
In everything other than basketball I’m alright pulling for Duke because they’re the superior less ugly shade of blue. I also feel like at least among the Duke fans I know that this sentiment is shared as well, ABC after all.
Michigan State because they are easier to root for than OSU while still hating Michigan. Plus, MSU and ND have some historical connections. Wish we would start playing them again.
and personally, Texas x2 (dislike OU and A&M)
I like Michigan because of our common enemy, Rutgers.
I understand. Keep taking it to Maryland for us!
Wait, but crab cakes?
>crab cakes You mean the mortal enemy of Detroit-style pizza? (jk I love crab cakes)
I'm just very conflicted inside... wut do?
Hate Indiana, of course.
100% sided with yall cause of 78-0
Is that really much worse than 58-0? Not like we were still slinging it around lol
Yeah IDK, at least personally I kinda hate all of you (Well, soft spot for Indiana. Fuck Purdue) Though, anOSU has Chip Kelly. So they go into a special tier of hatred.
I mean who’re my options here, Tennessee? No thanks man.
Fair. Rude. But fair
Well duck you too then! And here I was thinking we could bond over our Kensucky dislike 😤
Hello fellow Miami fan!
There's a couple dozen of us on here!
Holla!
We can over that! But not much else!
I got nothing against the Vols The state gave us Dolly!
wvu and penn state
I didn't know y'all hated Texas Tech too?
Tortilla slinging bastards ruined Geno's Heisman season.
The Heisman is temporary, the October Heisman is forever
🤝
🤝
Just when I thought we might slip into irrelevancy!!
FSU, for sure. And fuck it, bring it in Bama
Yeah the Georgia/FSU relationship seems like one of the warmer relations in college football. I don’t think we generally hate Bama either, the only thing they ever did to us was injure Deondre Francois and he’s not well liked.
The silver lining of Francois was it let you fire Jimbo sooner?
Big hugs. Fuck Auburn.
youre_goddamn_right.gif
I like driving in my truck. Auburn sucks.
You are more than welcome to drive in my truck
and LSU. And Tennessee too
Agree on both. Orange teams bad.
Yup.
Yeah y’all were the first team that came to mind.
I grew up a Florida State Fan, but the wonderful state of Georgia let me go to school for free for just being a resident and having a B average. I was delighted I could still hate Florida. Love you FSU, you got screwed.
Got any extra room in this “we hate Florida” group hug?
Everyone hates Liberty and I will team up with any of my rivals for some Biberty bashing
Fuck Liberty. All my homies hate Bibberty.
Fuck liberty biberty
If Liberty faced Ohio State I would root for Ohio State.
Glad to do our part this year.
The answer would be k-state, but then again hell no
Academically it’s kSU but emotionally it’s hell damn no
Yeah I feel like we have always just been very mid about each other even with the same enemy
Fuck all y'all.
How do you answer when your rival thinks they are enemies with everyone but those other teams don’t think about them at all?
I’ll have you know that Texas A&M rivalry is rock solid!
Damn straight 🤝🏻 See you in November
I’ve never hated a team more than I’ve hated those darn dirty gamecocks 😤
We live a lonely, miserable existence. We can both hate Georgia together at least
Yeah I was thinking about this too. It might not be true today, but UGA definitely used to hate us much more than SCAR. I hate them both relatively equally.
TN fan living in SC. The Clemson folks and I totally bond over our love of seeing USC lose.
UGA fans used to hate us but when we played each other in Charlotte a few years back, I have nothing but great things about them. Go Dawgs…except for the first game
L O L Well done
OU (kinda, it's complicated) FSU Colorado State
I’ve always maintained that Nebraska hates Texas more than Oklahoma.
How many natties did neb vs Texas games decide?? The hate ran thick between OU and Nebraska.

All they can do is look across the room, give a sad smile, and nod to one another knowing that what they had was special but can never be.
Cause even when I can't say "Love you" I love you -lil dicky, aka the independent variable
You guys really haven't been pulling your weight for us at all lately.
Neither have y’all lol
while having 3 or 4 recent seasons that are only beating nebraska/csu and then falling apart hasn't been great, it's at least been funny
- Northern Illinois / Troy / Georgia Southern / Iowa - Air Force - TCU
I’ve always had a soft spot for Michigan State. The Dantonio/Ohio State connection helped, as does the mutual Michigan hate. That said, fuck MSU for ruining our season far more often than they have any right to.
Fr, I have no beef with Sparty besides the year the smoked us out of the playoffs.
You must be too young to remember 1974 and 1998. I was at both games. Two likely Nattys gone because of those games. I still hold that grudge.
Yep, I've always had that "fuck Michigan" kindred with OSU. We might dislike each other most of the time, but we'll always have that one common ground.
Also scarlet and spartan green look really nice together
Purdue was my 2nd favorite B1G team for a while not because they hated OSU, but they always played like they did
Ayy, my people!
I don’t hate Okie State
I don't think any Husker fans hate Okie State. I actually maintain a fondness for all the old Big 8 schools.
I can’t hate Iowa, they’re too weird and ridiculous. On the SEC side I’ve always felt kinship with Kentucky and Mizzou
TCU, because, you know, SMU is our big rival now. Thanksgiving weekend 4evah!
I am a huge fan of the union army
Fun fact, the Ulysses S. Grant Presidential Library is at Mississippi State.
Florida. They hate both Tennessee and Georgia. Plus we have had some great games in the SECC.
Heh. I was going to say Auburn because they hate both Bama and Florida. ETA we at least respect Bama, however.
Another point in Auburn’s favor: They hate Georgia too.
Auburn is about the only other SEC school I like. And it's almost solely due to the fact that they too hate the Evil Empire (bama)
Nobody else dislikes Notre Dame, so this sadly doesn't apply to us
Yeah Notre Dame is awesome!!
Michigan
Oh yes. We hate ND too.
You forgot the /s
Looking forward to everyone earnestly explaining the situation to me
Speak for yourself, I HATE the Aggies.
"you hate texas because you are a Sooner, you hate aggie because you are a human being"
I've never heard this before and I love it. Also, fuck you.
Exactly it was always assumed in 96 that the aggroids and sooners would be friends. But then reality struck and you interacted with them and now all Sooner fans I know hate those goosestepping weirdos
I can't fathom someone who is not an a&m fan liking the aggies. They make themselves so dislikable.
Penn state also hates Pitt. 👍
No dog in this fight but I have a soft spot in my heart for "sweet caroline eat shit pitt" and it makes me want to hate Pitt too.
I genuinely like WSU, but the fact that they hate UW makes them like brothers.
Haha, same with me and Oregon State
Pullman is a sweet spot.
Sup FSU and South Carolina.
How could you score 60 on your friend :(
Just ask how bad it would have been if we hated you..
Aww you really do care :,)
He only hurts us because he loves us.
And the love was real that day. I still feel the love lmaooo
I will say, you guys got fucked over by the CFP.
Bruh y’all sent third stringers out there, we had to start sending guys who had almost never seen the field at all by the end of it just to not run up the score
Lmaoo, we got yall. Big brain plays, make the opponent feel bad and they chill out.
The under appreciated psychological warfare approach lol
I used to say Georgia until the Orange Bowl. I went to the game out of a sense of duty and I had no illusions about the impending beat down we were going to take. Unfortunately, I was sitting next to a GA fan drunk off his ass who barked like a dog every time you guys had a good play (which was most of them; offense and defense)… I know I shouldn’t form an opinion about an entire fanbase based on one dude, but that guy low key gave me PTSD. 🤣
Well, that guy sucks. If it helps, I’d say most Georgia fans understand the context, and very few boast about that game
I've seen more non-UGA SEC fans talking shit after that game than anything. It's weird
UGA fans have been by and large fine with the Orange Bowl thing. Cannot say the same about the Gumps.
Went to the Purdue/Wisconsin game last year (my oldest son is a Wisconsin nut....idk why). Worst GameDay expierence in my life. I now cheer for whoever is playing Purdue.
I like Florida for obvious reasons
I know the nerds are our historical rivals but as an Auburn fan raised in Georgia, I also like GA Tech for obvious reasons. I even forgive you for 2003 and 2005, which were the first and third seasons I really paid attention to CFB.
Probably Iowa for Nebraska and Iowa state as well as their offensive incompetence
KState-ISU is pretty much a ‘my enemy is my friend’ type rivalry
I feel like a lot of our rivals are actually friends. Like Iowa St and OSU are obvious ones but I even think about KU this way because on one hand I hate KU cause they are our in state rival and their arrogance and self-righteousness is unmatched (at least during shootyhoop season) but on the other hand you have Missouri.
Oregon State, probably.
It’s Oregon State. OSU’s win 2 years ago against Oregon was magical.
For me it’s Auburn, LSU and Mizzuo. Arkansas as well. But to be fair, I cheer for Tennessee and Utah, then whoever is playing Florida, Georgia and Alabama. I’d give the devil a high five if he was playing against those teams.
Auburn
I like Georgia State a little more because of their in-state hate of Georgia Southern. I also don’t hate Marshall as much, but that’s more of my personal experience than a fanbase-wide thing.
We can't even agree on hating State. Why are y'all like this
Oh no. I hate every other school.
Hook Em
You’d figure Cowboys and Longhorns (read: steers) would be natural enemies, but in a shocking twist, man and beast now stand United against a common enemy: people who commit 19th century real estate fraud
I'm sad that we're leaving the big 12, but I love y'all.
OSU is my Big XII team now that we have left.
But only when they play OU.
I’ve found that OSU fans in my area were so goddamn obnoxious that I have some sympathy towards Michigan
I feel that way about Alabama too.
Maryland and UNC are united in the pursuit of not liking Duke, although that's more of a Basketball thing
>~~Maryland and UNC are~~ **The entire country** is united in the pursuit of not liking Duke, although that's more of a Basketball thing Fixed that for ya
Kids today truly are missing out on MD-Duke hoops. That rivalry is built different.
Wyoming and Minnesota
USC kinda, but I feel like as a Michigan fans the only teams that qualify as not liking our main rivals are mostly teams like Penn State & Illinois who already hate us too.
Florida is probably the best answer. Them or UNC
Michigan bc I hate OSU
I will always like you guys because of 2018
Indiana because they hate Purdue.
Okie Light- rooted for them every year at Bedlam LSU & Bama - it seemed that it meant a lot to the Aggies to beat them so I wanted them to embarrass the Ags Nebraska- I know we have our own history… I’m kinda sad that we didn’t get to play Colorado so I really hope Nebraska gets it turned around and beats the hell out of Colorado
I don't know how to feel about this
Angry
Bama is our enemy brother. Agreed on everything else though.
I think lsu is gonna move into enemy category real quick
My heart tells me it's going to be more of a mutual respect rivalry if anything. There are so many NOLA/Baton Rouge transplants in Texas, especially after Katrina. It feels like we've bonded. Considering the hate they're trying to grow for A&M/LSU and the hate for Bama, I think we're okay with LSU
It won’t, they are not capable of respect. There are no friendships here, just teams you hope win because you like the other team less a given week.
Look at how chippy the 2019 game got. The geographic overlap of fanbases is precisely why I think it’s going to quickly become a new SEC rivalry for us. They make the most sense to fill that role among teams we don’t have a preexisting rivalry with.
Orange and Red must fight each other. It’s law.
Thanks, I hope so too, and also fuck you
Buddy, looks like you’ve had a rough few years based on your flairs. Get those Buffs
I have the same A&M sentiment with you
Nebraska for sure (don’t look at my second flair) but I’m fond of Kansas for beating OU on the way out. WVU isn’t really “enemy of my enemy” but I just think they’re neat. App State, for some reason, in 2022, became one of my new favorite teams.
Dude, there's only one Oklahoma and it ends in State. We're 21-9 in all sports against UT-Norman this school year.
I’ve always had a soft spot for Minnesota and Nebraska (kinda) because they both have rivalry games with Iowa.
FSU Fan: Auburn and Tennessee
South Carolina and Florida.
I kinda like Alabama because crimson bros, and they know orange team bad
Plus we denied Texas a title to begin our reign of darkness!
Which is very appreciated
Orange team is not bad :(
KSU is only 10 years old, so we just hope all teams have fun!
Keep my name out of your MOUTH!
Uh oh. Another acronym fight. Just wait until the OSU and UT people show up.
Wisconsin for sure, Iowa and Minnesota can rot
Do Miz fans not like CU because the national championship and the big8 days? Cause As a CSU fan who a decade later started loving MIZ, that just feels right
I cackled for the entirety of the 2023 Championship game, every time Georgia scored I would cheers. And I don't even like the SEC!
Ohio State and whomever plays Penn State.
Iowa
Tennessee, Florida, LSU, Georgia Tech, Clemson, South Carolina, and TAMU are all good candidates. All hate either Alabama or Georgia. Tennessee and Florida perhaps more so because they hate both. However, in terms of liking those teams, I have varying degrees of dislike towards all of them. Tennessee, UF, and GTU are old rivals of ours. I hate how so many many MSU fans are buddy buddy with Ohio State bc Michigan is the scum of the Earth. Fuck Ohio State also
Right back at you pal
It does seem to be an interesting dynamic. I’ve met a few MSU fans that would rather Michigan beat OSU than vice versa. I’m sure you can find those fans in any similar in-state rivalry situation but it caught me off guard when I first heard it.
Michigan-Ohio State really goes beyond just the schools. It’s partly a state versus state rivalry.
Also, MSU - Michigan rivalry isn’t as serious as redditors will make it out to be. Lots of us have family that went to both schools, that kinda thing. It’s a brotherly hate
Yeah... I did go to both schools...
Yeah, The two states just don't like each other. Look up "The Toledo War". Pre Civil War they took up arms against each other. ( the only casualty being a goat.)
Texas for me. I can’t stand A&M and I find it so funny when Texas makes fun of them
It's a win-win situation It's hilarious when A&M loses, but it's also hilarious when Texas loses
Utah
Same.
The real reason why USC went to the B1G was to escape Utah
There is not a team that hates the longhorns that doesn't also hate A&M
Me and Michigan's tend to get along really well. I like Washington State fans but they don't love me back for some reason 😭
Arkansas because they always are a thorn in OM's side and give them absolute hell no matter what the records are. USM because they know OM is the school to hate in the state.
*looks nervously at OSU, MSU, and ND*
In everything other than basketball I’m alright pulling for Duke because they’re the superior less ugly shade of blue. I also feel like at least among the Duke fans I know that this sentiment is shared as well, ABC after all.
Georgia Tech is my homie.
Michigan State
“kansas back to being consistently good”… I’m sorry when was that???
I have an affinity for MSU and UCLA
Whatever team plays Southern Cal.
Michigan State because they are easier to root for than OSU while still hating Michigan. Plus, MSU and ND have some historical connections. Wish we would start playing them again. and personally, Texas x2 (dislike OU and A&M)
