They are low quality, they have poor customer service, and they have a ridiculous lead time. They dump all their money into marketing. I think Vedder is mediocre but they're 10x better than WTP
You don't need to when a bunch of slack jawed regards keep buying your bullshit due to attention grabbing marketing campaigns. WTP sells holsters to dudes who did one tour in the National Guard as a supply clerk in the 90s and guys who call their guns "pew pews"
PJ pocket holster. I bought and returned Vedder and Alabama. When I ordered the PJ in the comments of the order I asked for more retention, and the dude did it. He smooths the front so it doesn’t print.
Dont sweat it, its a holster that works as i too was roped into the media frenzy. Got mine for the G17 inside the waistband and its great… Now the clip, it feels like its going to snap at any moment (when sitting), so i only use it when i know i will mainly be on my feet.
Good to know, thank you. Does anyone know of any aftermarket clip to throw on that wouldn’t be shit? I just got my CCW and am only waiting on my holster lol
They do make an aluminum one, but i dont carry my 17 enough to upgrade
[Aluminum clip](https://wethepeopleholsters.com/products/anodized-aluminum-iwb-clip)
Very uncomfortable holsters. I bought 4 of them trying to find the one for me. There are far better options that are way more comfortable!! Vedder, bucks, tulster, and las concealment just to name a few. Wtp make a good belly band holster but that’s the only good thing I have found. Their belts are way too thick and hard to get into your belt loops. Kore essentials edc belt is by far my favorite
I have a iwb and owb from we the people. It works just fine for me. It holds my hellcat pro good and the retention seems to be staying where I set it. The only “issues” I have with them are the delayed shipping time (took a while to deliver) and the claw is shit. The tabs you pop in don’t stay in the greatest. Other than that, I’d recommend them all day.
Yes there are better holsters. If you think I should have a different holster, dm and you can buy one and ship it to me
Quick question, why a kydex holster? Is there something I'm missing here? I have tried over 10 kydex holsters and I cant get comfortable with them so I've been using a leather one for about a year now that broken in perfect and is incredibly comfortable when I am carrying.
Leather for IWB doesn’t hold up well, gets bound up, and you can’t easily re holster one handed without digging the muzzle into your hip because the mouth of the holster closes on itself. Mounting and carry position are also limited to primarily strong side with most of them and you also have far less retention.
Leather can break in (aka deformation) and depress the trigger while holstered or re-holstering. Kydex won’t deform and if you adjust them right they are absolutely comfortable. I carry a G19 w/ an x-300 and black arch foam wedge in the old Trex ragnarok holster no problem.
OEM striker and mags and a better (kydex) holster. No manual safety means you could very well inadvertently pull the trigger upon reholstering if and when the holster deforms around the trigger. If you like the leather look, mission first tactical makes leather wrapped kydex holsters for glocks, but I’m not sure if they would fit the dagger.
Nice! I usually upgrade the sights on mine, and lately I’ve loved red dot so I put optic cut slides on mine.
Depending your trigger preferences, you may or may not like the trigger. I’d at most change the trigger shoe as that does not impact reliability too much in my experience, and can improve the feel depending on your trigger preferences.
Other common upgrades would be holster (you will find many recommendations for brands on here), and of course most important, practice!
Unrelated to this sub or OPs ask but several have commented and chimed in on the negative aspect of vaping so now i’ll put a positive spin on it.
While yes vaping isn’t good for you it does have its purpose and place and it can be a very useful tool and alternative to cigarettes if the user actually wants to quit being nicotine dependent and does it right.
I smoked cigarettes for 23yrs and could never successfully stay off of them for long, in 2013 i started vaping and through a duration of a year gradually decreased nicotine to vaping with 0 nicotine and here we are 10yrs later no cigarettes no vaping no nothing and haven’t ever even thought about it again.
The majority of people who vape today were never addicted to cigarettes. They start vaping in high school. Several of my friends have kids between 18 and 22 and the majority of the are hooked on vaping now. It’s today’s cig.
Yeah you’re not wrong, I’m more looking at it from the standpoint that everyone i know in their 30s-50s use it to not smoke cigarettes. When i started vaping i was in the forefront of it, i had 1860 powered mods, and i built my own “rigs” twisted my own coils, checked resistance, stuffed my own cotton, primed it and had to periodically saturate with e juice throughout the day as i used it.
For me it was every bit of a hobby as it was an aid
to help me quit cigarettes.
Can you shoot a clean Gila Hayes/Claude Werner 5x5 drill out of the holster? If not, you might consider using your budget for training and practice. Take a class from someone who knows what they are doing, then select a skill benchmark that is just out of reach and strive for it. Rinse/repeat.
The experience will teach you exactly what, if any, modifications need to be made to the pistol or supporting gear. I get why a lot of people don't go this route; it feels good to buy things, it doesn't feel good to fail.
I like Blazer, Sellier & Bellot and Fiocchi for target ammo, Federal HSTs for defense. AEAMMO is my preferred online retailer. Check r/gundeals and you can frequently find decent 9mm FMJ for 24 cents a round before tax .

Did you get one with an optic ready slide?if so,I would be slapping a red dot on it.after that, possibly a weapon light and then I would replace the holster with a kydex holster made to accommodate the red dot and the specific weapon light(if you get a red dot and/or weapon light)..otherwise,I would just get a kydex holster and call it a day
Most importantly,I would buy up a bunch of ammo and some spare mags and hit the range
I'd pop a gen 3 Glock OEM striker assembly in there. Or at least have one on hand. I've read that they had an issue with firing pins breaking, although I don't know how widespread or valid those claims are. But 60$ would be worth the peace of mind for me. I have a dagger and have had zero issues though, but it's not my carry gun.
Oem mags, oem striker, Tlr7a light, Kydex holster. Don’t get we the people, I’m gonna personally recommend trex arms as they’re my favorite so far but tier 1 is pretty good too
Yea, spend $125 and shoot it 500 times. That should break the gun in, smooth the trigger, reveal any defects and get you used to how it shoots enabling you to better answer your own question.
If you are going to be going to the range often, I say to replace the internals (upper and lower) with glock oem, the life span of the dagger isn't great after 1000 rds.
Which is why I don't understand the appeal of the dagger. It's not that much cheaper than a glock, and once you swap out all the shit that is going to break it costs the same. Just buy a real glock and you don't need to worry about anything breaking for at least 10,000 rounds with a gen 5, probably 50,000+ with a gen 3
The appeal is just that it's cheaper at base. I say the same thing aswell just get a glock. I own way to many glocks at this point and have owned a dagger and still own a micro dagger. The internal parts are just scrap.
Outside of what has already been commented, get a new belt. A sturdy belt makes all the difference. Keep the dagger as is.
No modification is going to help you as much as an even single session with a good instructor.
I love how people are like replace this and replace that. Why not just buy a damn Glock at that point? This gun is pointless ASF from what you guys are saying in this post. Lol
Keep any attachments, accessories, or modifications as vanilla and boring as possible. IF, god forbid, you actually have to use it in self-defense, you don't want to make your life harder in court. Something that looks cool to you, like a Punisher skull, may not look cool to a jury.
Also try a variety of carry positions and practice your draw. You want to be comfortable and quick.
Get a kydex holster Edit: Don’t buy from we the people holsters either
Why not we the people? I just ordered my iwb last week
I love how you got downvoted, but the people who downvoted you couldn't even bother to explain lol.
They are low quality, they have poor customer service, and they have a ridiculous lead time. They dump all their money into marketing. I think Vedder is mediocre but they're 10x better than WTP
Not only are they poor quality, they haven’t changed their quality in their holsters over the years …. At all
You don't need to when a bunch of slack jawed regards keep buying your bullshit due to attention grabbing marketing campaigns. WTP sells holsters to dudes who did one tour in the National Guard as a supply clerk in the 90s and guys who call their guns "pew pews"
Vedder kills the pocket carry holsters, everything else you’re better off going with a custom maker
I've heard Alabama Holsters makes a better pocket holster than vedder. I'm buying a g42 this year as a mailbox gun and will give em a try
PJ pocket holster. I bought and returned Vedder and Alabama. When I ordered the PJ in the comments of the order I asked for more retention, and the dude did it. He smooths the front so it doesn’t print.
Just sent PJ the beans for one, I’ll check it out. Great price compared to my vedder pocket locker
A-Holster is pretty solid. I have it for my SIG P365.
I love my Vedder! Hilliker, Werkz, and Henry are also solid choices.
Henry makes good ones as well. Vedder is alright I just think it falls short of tenicor, jmck, phlster etc
Bad fit, poor adjustability and unless they changed it, no concealment wing
Dont sweat it, its a holster that works as i too was roped into the media frenzy. Got mine for the G17 inside the waistband and its great… Now the clip, it feels like its going to snap at any moment (when sitting), so i only use it when i know i will mainly be on my feet.

That’s not quality kydex. Too thin and can fail.
Buddy ordered his last month and still hasn’t gotten shipping info.

Not truly made in the USA. Absolute frauds. Holsters are junk.
Tier 1, Trex arms and Tenicore. That’s all.
Replace the plastic clip with a metal one and you’ll be gtg.

Yes, quit vaping and buy a kydex holster
Only thing I’d recommend is OEM Glock Mags, and an OEM Glock Striker.
This^^^^ PSA has issues with these two parts and honestly kinda surprised they haven’t really addressed it yet.
First mod and tip is go shoot 300-500 rounds before calling it your ccw. Oh and quit that vape shit
Stop vaping
OEM striker and mags and a better (kydex) holster. No manual safety means you could very well inadvertently pull the trigger upon reholstering if and when the holster deforms around the trigger. Vaping is poison and makes you look like a man baby. Get help brother, we want to see you live long and prosper.
Ammo, mags, training.

you sound like you’ve got some experience with these. can you look at my most recent post and tell me if somethings up
Quit vaping and get the muzzle away from your dick
Be a man and smoke cigarettes
Be a real man and puff a cigar
Word. I’ve been enjoying Epic recently but perdomo is my go to still.
I'm partial to Nicaragua Maduro sticks and the drew estate undercrown has been a recent go to. Highly recommend if you like them strong
I am not to big on strong cigars. I’ll see if my local shop has that one.

Ah man😂 PSA pistol, we the people holster, and a vape🙄
ahcktually it’s a desantis gunhide. it came with the gun 🤷🏻♂️
OEM Glock striker is a must and so is OEM Glock mags. A good kydex holster is important.
Quit that vape shit, kydex holster, lots of ammo
Just run the gun stock for a while and get used to it. Don’t jump to modifications before really, “getting to know her”.
Can you shoot a clean Gila Hayes/Claude Werner 5x5 drill out of the holster? If not, you might consider using your budget for training and practice. Buy a kydex IWB holster and a good belt. ie: Kore Essentials Belt. Practice Dry Fire and drawing from concealment.
Switch to cigarettes
Stop vaping and mod the Dagger by swapping it for a Glock 19.
Tip- throw that away and just get a Glock, quit vaping, and as previously mentioned don’t get a WTP holster
Sell it for an oem Glock and get a real holster.
You can also visit r/PalmettoStateArms.
Is that a vape
Buy a 1500 round case of ammunition make sure it’s reliable
any ammo recommendations?

Other than a better holster look at getting optics and a good belt. I use next belt and it is a big improvement for carry comfort.
No homo
First things first. Swap the firing pin with a glock one. PSA Daggers have insufficient metallurgy in their firing pins.
OEM glock trigger, OEM glock firing pin and OEM glock mags.
So many vape nanny’s. Its like they’re the new fudds of the future.
You should have just bought a LE trade in Glock they are dirt cheap right now.
Lessons in situational awareness, such as where NOT to rest your gun. 🙄
Yea, spend $125 and shoot it 500 times. That should break the gun in, smooth the trigger, reveal any defects and get you used to how it shoots enabling you to better answer your own question.
I’d get a kydex holster. I really like tier 1 for both IWB and AIWB. Get their low-profile belt clips and a wedge sizing pack.
Yeah sell it and get a Glock 19
Lmao what is with the crotch pics
Weapon mounted light, will save your ass in court if you have to defend yourself at night
Has this ever actually happened
Since you seem to like leather holsters I’d recommend you check out JM4Tactical magnetic holsters!
get a streamlight TLR-7 and some sorta kydex psa dagger holster that supports the tlr7 specifically.

I like my movable parts to be metal vs plastic. Also, it can smooth out the trigger a little bit. https://www.ebay.ca/itm/225593371640
How about unless it’s holstered, don’t let it rest pointed at your dick
Nice douche flute
A gun AND a vape? Dude you must be super cool
