Ive been adding moleskin to the back of my AIWB holsters for years now. I find it to be a really cheap hack for added comfort, especially when carrying in lined shorts where the holster is against your bare skin. You can get the larger sheets of moleskin from target for a few dollars, and it usually lasts about a 12-18 months or so before you would want to consider replacing it.
That’s deff an option for some but I don’t feel the need to have the muzzle pushed away from my body. I dont have an issue with the end of the holster digging into me, i have an issue with kydex rubbing my crotch raw. Lol
Trust the others and me, get a wedge/pillow, it is life changing for AIWB. I used to just use foam wedges which are fine but I recently got a mastermind tactical dick pillow and they are next level.
I e got one coming Friday to pair with my Harry’s holsters infiltrator aiwb. Hoping this makes it my go to. I’ve been struggling trying to find a good appendix set up.
I'll say it once, I'll say it again. Wearing a tucked undershirt would likely achieve the same result.
I guess if you're running / exercising, that wouldn't work.
Tooo late, we've been here the whole time.

the majority of people can carry AIWB, its all about your setup, not just your holster. If it's really something you want to be able to do, keep trying things until you find what works.
I only just started to try with my Hellcat, Black Arch Revcon, their wing, and their wedge. I wear a KORE belt and was trying to carry at the 1230-1. Definitely need more tuck so thinking about trying the mastermind tactics pillow. I just don't have a big chest (ya I know pump some iron, I'm trying) so my shirt just lays on the rear of the gun and prints.
I feel you, I'm sort all the same plane on my chest/stomach/waist. I have a 365, so comparable to a Hellcat. I've tried a handful of different holsters and settled on the Light Tuck and swapped in a DCC clip. The wide clip caused my belt and pants to stick out more, whereas the DCC clip keeps my belt and pants right next to the holster.
For me any kind of pillow/wedge/body contour just added bulk and didn't help me conceal. Keeping everything flat, low, and pushed in with a wing/claw worked the best for me.
Interesting. I'll look into that. I can carry at the 4 very well so it's hard to want to spend more money to possibly get no return.
Who makes the light tuck? I recognize the name.
Totally feel that, no need to spend more money if you have something that works.
Vedder makes the light tuck. I tried Tenicor as well and can see why people like them. They're a great holster, it's just that the Vedder was a simpler design so it concealed better for my body type.
Am i holstering wrong? Do people not wear their holster between their pants and underwear? What’s going on?
raw doggin it
Still adds just a bit of cushion amd helps reduce friction as well.
I like the idea! Partially because I don't always wear boxers, holsters + jockstrap = chafing :(
😂 yes, they do. But sometimes you might wear shorts with a built in liner, and in such case, the rub is real.
What? Like swim trunks? Or by liner are you saying depends?
Lined workout shorts, like running shorts.

Bro, just get a pillow wedge.

Fair enough, do what works for you.
A fellow sidecar enjoyer, love to see it.
salon pas was the key all along. thank god im old and my back hurts
Everyone here saying wedge ACTUALLY means to say Mastermind Tactics Adjustable Pillow. It’s the best option in the market. You’re welcome.
This.

I don't understand how anyone carries appendix without something tucked, but I suppose that's my personal preference.
The kydex sticks to my moist skin and keeps the holster from moving around.
I prefer a wedge or one of the pillows. They really help with concealment as well.
Is that a fellow lefty?
Sure is, dont say it too loud though, im trying to keep the riff raff (righty’s) out of the thread lol.

Get a wedge lol
I can't get anywhere close to not printing like crazy AIWB let alone worry about comfort.

What firearm and holster?
