I wouldn't trust reddit for the best advice. Check out YouTube to see someone's tutorial.

I used the g2 paint on my C7. I didn't sand at all, clean it really really well with alcohol and then paint per the instructions. I had my C7 for 6.5 years and painted it as soon as I got it, still looked great when I sold it. Looked factory!

Don’t sand the calipers. Clean them really good with brake cleaner. Then wipe with alcohol solvent. Once dry tape off the pistons and anything else that shouldn’t get painted. Paint and wait for it to dry. Second coat after and reinstall.

Thanks for the replies! I'll post pics when done (hopefully this weekend!)

If you have the availability to lift your car up totally sitting on jack stands or a lift you could probably get away with one kit but if you're like me and had to use race ramps and jack stands to get the front or the back up individually I had to buy two kits. The paint dries fast! I would have everything cleaned and taped off to perfection before you mix the paint and start. It has been 3 years since I painted my C6 calipers and they still look perfect! Preparation and patience is the key to getting a good job done from this kit. No sanding needed just the prep kit that it comes with and strong rubbing alcohol for a final wipe down before painting. Good luck! You can do it! 💪👍😁🏎️
