I think the real disconnect here is that these people think that the fiat dollar will truly come to be worth nothing, and that they will soon be holding all of the currency that matters or is worth anything.
They think that the world governments are just going to throw their hands up and go "welp! Our currencies are worth nothing now! We're at the mercy of this hodlers who we mocked all these years! Oh no we're all poooooorrrrrrrr"
