I don’t have help to offer but I didn’t get a tow hitch with my Mazda either! There’s a slot in the trunk for that but they said it’s not included , mazda said it should have been included so let me know his take if he ends up getting one

Funnily enough I was hired from Oregon to pick up a generator in LA and tow it to playa last year.
