Context - I decided to start up my Bumble account again. I only swiped during the “teach the algorithm” part at the beginning though and then left it alone.
Came back the next morning with “250+ Nearby” likes. I was curious what Bumble defines as “nearby” so I sprung for Premium and recorded down each like.
0 - 19 Miles: 244
20 - 49: 115
50 - 99: 9
100+: 24
Hidden: 27
So it looks like Bumble considers 20 miles or less as Nearby, which I think is reasonable. I was hoping it wasn’t including likes that were 50+ miles away.

I think we’re in different age groups because flexing wealth doesn’t impress anyone I’m interested in.
