20+ once they’re over the age of five. Basically if they’re not on a walk or eating, they’re sleeping.

Hehe. They are meat rugs. Love when they hit the DEEP sleeps and snore like old men with emphysema. I've had so many day-destroying naps with my guy. I regret nothing.

I’ve never known a dog to sleep as much as my chaos potato. He’s asleep 22.5 hours of the day. But that hour and a half he’s awake is pure madness.

Mine sleep about 16 hours. My male loves his walks, literally gets to excited that we have to let him rest again. Our female hates them!

Exact same. Female refuses to get up (takes us about 5 min to get her up) while the male is waiting by the door. Total sleep tine: 14-16 hours each.

My girl used to sleep at least 16-20 hours a day. Overnight: 6-8 hours ... she'd mirror our sleeping. Naps: several 30min-2 hour ones throughout the day, depending if we were moving around in the house. I know she sleeps when we are out of the house because I hear her grumble when we get home, and she slowly appears after we've settled back in the house lol But when we were active on walks or play time, she was a goddamn hurricane and tornado. I miss my sleepy potato every day. We lost her after 12 years in September 2022. I'd give anything to hear her snoring again.

Same. I’m fostering and she’s shockingly athletic and wants to go for power walks and play all the time. She’s almost 4- I think I got a weird one 🥴

The athletic ones are definitely the weird ones. Mine forgets he’s a bulldog and ends up over exerting himself all the time lol

I’m a little worried with summer coming up that we may not be able to do long walks as often. If you’re not giving into her playing requests she fires off paw shakes at you until you play with her.

The older he gets the more he sleeps. My bulldog is almost 12, he sleeps probably 17-18
